A swirling tan, blue, green and red patterned glass chamber is encased by transparent, clear, pale crimson and orange glass. A whimsical and colorful sterling silver pin is formed as a bird with a sharp, upturned beak and fan-like tail. The enameled areas are well defined and retain their polished surface. This large and lovely glass Tam-O-Shanter lamp shade is a beauty to behold. Its colors glimmer amber in the right lighting, but may often appear a rich ruby red. The waisted top rise to a trumpet opening with ruffled rim.

Lovely big statement flower form brooch hand made by Pono Italy in very finely made art plastic "moonglow" mother of pearl Lucite with variegated color in very pale blue with a glass bead and stitching in the center, and a leather back. Marked PONO. Nice size -- 2 7/8 inches in diameter. Excellent condition. The tiny red spot on the back is in the plastic. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Features a piece of amber carved and polished in the shape of a blossom, surmounting a sterling silver stem with vines and leaves. A small bud is represented by an amber bead. The pin stem is marked 925, indicating a possible European origin or maker, as European makers usually marked the pin stems. The rollover clasp is in good working order. The pin measures 2 ¾ inches long by 5/8 inch wide at the blossom.
