Extremely fine triple cased sommerso decanter attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1950s. With a cranberry colored glass core cased inside a layer of vivid blue, cased again inside lavender. The effect of the three layers of colored glass is stupendous. This lovely decanter has a slightly flattened form and stands over 16.25" tall to the top of the stopper. In excellent condition.

Fulvio Bianconi designed the fasce verticale series for Venini. This pair is in good condition. The metal parts show the patina of age. An interesting detail regarding this pair is the rod that runs up the center of the lamp, concealing the wire, is covered with a ribbed clear glass tube which adds an attractive element of finish to the lamps. The lamps are 23" to top of glass.

Sambaso dancer with the typical high hat (striped eboshi) with a sun disc (round circle) on each side. In his left hand he holds suzu jingle bells; his right hand, on his back, holds a fan. Single block carving (ichiboku); keyaki (zelkova) wood, carved in a faceted way, resembling ittobori, and stained dark brown.

Nice large centerpiece bowl with the starry nights design in lattimo glass, with the design expressed using aventurine on a crystal case over latimo glass. The starry nights design is well documented as Fratelli Toso. The bowl is nicely sculpted into a gondola form and the four feet are sculpted from the generous case of crystal on the exterior. This fine piece is in perfect condition, measures 16"w x8"d x7"h, and bears a portion of its Nora Fenton import label.
