Italian Gilded Wall Brakets Pair, measuring 14” high each and 16” wide with shell motifs circa 1950

Black mask with an unusual slightly conical coiffe. Africa, Gabon, Punu Peoples. Height: 12 " ( 30 cm). The mask is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old accidents and infestations (no danger), otherwise good condition. NOTE 1: A similar mask is in the Dapper Museum collection in Paris, published in "Masques" Editions Dapper 1995, 2000, 2006 Paris, page 89. NOTE 2: Punu masks are worn during funerals by members of the "Mukuji" Society and are meant to represent ancestors.

Nice large centerpiece bowl with the starry nights design in lattimo glass, with the design expressed using aventurine on a crystal case over latimo glass. The starry nights design is well documented as Fratelli Toso. The bowl is nicely sculpted into a gondola form and the four feet are sculpted from the generous case of crystal on the exterior. This fine piece is in perfect condition, measures 16"w x8"d x7"h, and bears a portion of its Nora Fenton import label.

This is a very nice "flick stick" walking stick. When you flick the end of the stick, a small sword blade pops out. This stick measures 34" x 1" x 1". The collar and ferrule both measure an inch. The blade of the sword is 5". This stick is a little rough around the edges, but for such an old piece it is in very good condition!

Magnificent 5 inch tall sterling silver salt & pepper shakers or casters designed and signed by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pair weigh 242 grams or 8 1/2oz. This finely made celadon vase is a mid 20th century product. It is 9 ¼” high and 7” wide from the widest part. The artist name “Sadame” and seal are on the top of the original wood box; his seal is stamped on the bottom of the vase. It is in excellent condition.

Modern lighting design thought to be a Gio Ponti design. A ceiling chandelier in the same design is on page 96 of CATALOGUE RAISONNE' by Anna Venini.

Chinese brush made of bamboo and horse hair. The handle is carved and painted with an inscription. The brush hair is horse hair. The top of the brush has a metal fitting with a ribbon hanger. It measures 13" long, the handle is 1" diameter.

Fulvio Bianconi designed the fasce verticale series for Venini. This pair is in good condition. The metal parts show the patina of age. An interesting detail regarding this pair is the rod that runs up the center of the lamp, concealing the wire, is covered with a ribbed clear glass tube which adds an attractive element of finish to the lamps. The lamps are 23" to top of glass.

Extremely fine triple cased sommerso decanter attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1950s. Offered is this beautiful pulled-feather vase made by Durand around 1930. The vase is just under 10 inches tall. A large, beautiful, Tiffany style lamp. The lamp is 34 inches (87 cm) tall (to the top of the finial). The shade itself is 19 1/2 inches (50 cm) wide and 8 1/2 inches high (10 inches tall to the metal-top). The contemporary lamp takes three bulbs on the upper sockets and one bulb in the lower, inside-body socket. The lamp is in good condition.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1933. The date codes indicate this year. It is signed by the artist E. Barker. The plate measures 10 ¾” in diameter. Rare stoneware teadust melping vase. The broad mouth over narrow shoulders with the sides tapering to a slightly flared foot.

Glazed on the exterior, the base ring left bare as well as the interior below the neck. The base is glazed in the same teadust colour, the green toned glaze pooling around the edges.

Condition: In very good condition, no breaks or cracks

A vintage mid century modernist pair of salad servers in sterling silver and exotic wood by William Spratling. One is an open slotted spoon/fork and the other is a large serving spoon. They each measure 12 1/4" long and 2 1/4" across the bowls. Marked with the conjoined 'WS', Taxco and 925. These were the marks used between 1933-40, the first design period.
