Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the footed sherbet in crystal. Perfect condition. I have 3 available, price is per sherbet. Small silver bow earrings by Karl Erik Palmberg for Alton, renown makers of Swedish modernist jewelry. KEP was Alton’s chief designer. Width "1/2 / 14 mm. Marks: KP, F for the town of Falköping where Alton was based, the Swedish hallmark (three crowns and S) and year mark X8 for 1948. Condition: fine.

A small bronze figure of a penguin by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller, Vienna, c 1950, unsigned. This model, with neck feathers, does not seem to be among the later reproduced miniatures. Nice patina. Height "2/ 5,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A vintage, finely hand made SILVER PUMPKIN REPOUSSÉ BOX from Cambodia, with embossed floral scroll décor and stem. Hallmark on base. Size: 2 1/2" x 2" x height 2" (6.5 cm x 5 cm x height 5 cm.). Weight: 64 gr.

An Austrian bronze bottle stopper by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller, Vienna, c 1950. Modeled as a happy and sleepy drunkard, bottle in hand, leaning onto a sagging lamp post. Cork stopper still in place, stamped inscription: Henkes Delfshaven Holland. Henkes was a Dutch gin/genever producer. Height including cork "3¾/ 9,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Unusual vintage Japanese glass scholar’s brush rest with transparent body and beautiful white and blue stripes in the core. Very well made, in great condition except for a few small chipped areas as seen on photos, very pleasant to handle. Length 3.42 inches.

This vintage Turkmen Tekke child's bib or collar is hand-embroidered in silk thread with cotton tassels. Shoulder to shoulder measures 19" and the front is 9 1/2" with a 3" fringe. The reverse is a printed cotton fabric and the embroidery technique features the traditional gul-i-badam ("almond flower") motif which is generally found only on Turkmen embroideries from Afghanistan. Condition is excellent and its estimated age is late 20th century.

5 Japanese Noritake Peony flowering tree design deep wide soup bowls or dishes, 8 1/2" diameter, 2 1/2" high, marked "Tremont, US design Pat. applied for" and Noritake China, Japan" on the bottom. The condition is good.

A carved and dark red lacquered serving tray, depicting Bog Arum (Calla Palustris) with its cinnabar red berries emerging from the elongated leaves. Made in Kamakura, the back with a stamped seal mark. Diameter "10 ¾/ 27.5 cm. Condition: some wear and scratch marks (cf. pics).

This vintage purse from Afghanistan is worked in a variation of ladder stitch and Bukhara couching to form repeating whorl and volute motifs. Silk and metallic thread are embroidered on a green polyester ground. The purse feature two inside pockets lined with red printed cotton, with the outer edges fringed with blue glass seed beads to protect against the evil eye. It measures 10.5 x 14 cm when closed, 13.8 x 25 cm when opened and dates to the mid or late 20th century.

A pair of boro tabi (socks) made of cotton and indigo dyed. Both soles are lost. The first half of the 20th century. Sashiko is hand-sewn but the light blue reinforcement cloth is machine sewn. L:24cm, H:12cm

Boro asa noragi (field wear) made of hand-plied asa (hemp). It has indigo dyed cotton cloth in the buttom and some mending patches. The first half of the 20th century. 63cm x 90cm

Beaded Block was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1927 to about 1930. Pieces in this pattern are difficult to find and eagerly scooped up by collectors when they do surface. Offered here is the 7 3/4 inch square plate in a bright vaseline yellow. Perfect condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern - including plates in other colors.

This figural glass lamp was produced by L.E. Smith Company during the 1940's - 50's. The color was fired on over clear glass, giving the opaque finish. This style is referred to as the 'Southern Belle' lamp. I have 2 available. Both have been re-wired so they work fine. The shade clips on the light bulb. (Bulb not included, I recommend 25 or 40 watt bulbs so the glass doesn't get too hot.) Please specify which you'd like. All are in good shape.
