This fantastic Julia etched panel optic wine goblet is by Tiffin Glass. Three full-size motifs surround the optic bowl - stylized flaming compotes with with uplifting feathery leaves holding drop flower buds... quite dramatic. The stem (#15011) is a lovely honey-amber fluted pedestal and nob on a broad amber foot. It stands 7 7/8" tall and is in excellent, unused condition. Production date 1930. Five different hand-brush-drawn designs on seven plates featuring, flowers, fish, bamboo, and trees (see all enlargements.) This is a beautiful and gorgeous book titled "Textiles: The Soul of India" by Hiroko Iwatate who is a prominent collector and researcher of antique and modern Indian textiles for about 40 years. There was a highly reputed exhibition of her Indian textiles collection at Japan folk Crafts Museum ( Nihon Mingei-kan ) in Tokyo in 2007 as well as in other museums in Japan. It has 207 pages with full color pictures and captions and descriptive texts in Japanese as well as in English...

Japanese Washi Paper Book, Ca. Meiji Period 1894, 10 1/2" x 7 1/2" wide, approximately 106 pages of Japanese Kanji on double Washi Paper, shows wear and tears.

This early American Pattern Glass toothpick holder was made by McKee in 1904. It is 3 5/8" tall and not hallmarked. This pattern is called Peek-A-Boo or Cherub because it has 2 naked babies holding up a barrel (8 panel)

Reference : Glass Toothpick Holders by Bredehoft and Samford 2nd edition, page 128.- The newer ones made after 1940 have a cupped and stippled base.

Modernist matte-finish exterior black, pink, turquoise, and white ceramic vase with a shiny turquoise interior, signed "KRU 9" and is in excellent condition. It measures 5 1/2" high by 4 1/4". 8 Czechoslovakia EPIAG Dessert or Salad Plates, 8 1/4" diameter, with floral decoration. Marked on the bottom "EPIAG" "Czechoslovakia" in green. One(1) dessert plate has shallow frit under the rim area.

Hocking Glass Co. cookie jar known as Pink Paneled Rib and as Horizontal Rib, 1937. Goes well with the Manhattan pattern. In almost mint condition (some wear scratches on the bottom).

A Janice silver overlay ice blue sauce bowl with underplate. This American Elegant glass 3-3/4" high handled sauce dish with matching 7" (without handles) underplate is in the New Martinsville Janice pattern, in production from 1926-44. What's unusual is that this set is in the scarce Ice Blue colour, with applied sterling silver overlay. This fine table decoration is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs...

This is one of a set of three French majolica plates, 20th century, two marked "P-V" and "France", the other incised "Made in France", all stamped "26947", molded in relief with grapes and grapevines in a central reserve; good coloration; Overall condition very good, one has small chip on rim base, no cracks or paint flakes; 8" diam.

The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. Measuring a diminutive 2 inches in diameter and in near mint condition, this interesting and unusual celluloid advertising pocket mirror features a person dosing with a magical "Nature's Remedy" tablet! The mirror front has a age-faded salmon colored border surrounding an image of a person's face with protruding tongue, about to swallow a "NR" (Nature's Remedy) tablet...

This Victorian silverplate tea strainer has a shaped rim and handle with a lovely stamped pattern of scrolling leaves and flowers. Condition: very good, minor surface wear. Measurement: 5 7/8 in. x 3 _ in.

A complete Dunbar beverage set is hard to find. Usually the tumblers are broken and only the tray caddy survives. This style of beverage service called Bridge Set and its purpose was to be used at the card table. Although it is often referred to as depression glass, it was really manufactured in the 1920’s. This set is in excellent condition and features an etched flower sometimes called cornflower. The glasses hold about 12 ounces...

Chinese heavy weight wooden grain measuring bucket with black iron mounting with studded nails, 10" high, 7" square-top rim, 12" square-bottom rim, two(2) handles are positioned in different angle to hold the heavy weight grain. There are Chinese Characters written in black calligraphy style on all four(4) sides. Some iron mounting area on the bottom is rusted and left rough wooden surface.
