Monumental sommerso decanter by Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1950s. In brown glass cased inside a layer of pale yellow. This enormous decanter, standing 22" tall to the top of the stopper, is a showstopper. In excellent condition.

A similar bottle was featured in the 1998 Sotheby's auction "Important 20th Century Glass" with an estimate of $1,800 to $2,400.

Tsugaru kogin kimono made of vegetable indigo dye hemp whose warps and wefts are hand plied. It is made in Tsugaru region in Aomori prefecture in Tohoku district. Kogin-sashi is one kind of needlework (sashiko), stitches with white cotton yarn go horizontally and make geometrical patterns. Bronze sculpture of a pair of geese, necks stretched out. Both are abstracted into a beautiful silhouette with only the most essential lines to indicate movement and character. One goose is stretching its head towards the sky (or full moon), the other stretching its neck towards its companion.

Pair of large Chinese Republic period baluster form vases decorated with mirror image famille rose enamelled bird and flower motifs. Black inscription to the back includes Tianjin and the date in cycle years of 1932. There is a prominent luting line in the neck and a barely visible luting line at the mid-section. 17 1/8” and 17 1/4" high. Very good overall condition. They were previously drilled for lamps and the holes in the bottom have been professionally restored...

Chinese blanc de chine porcelain figure of the bodhisattva of compassion Quan Yin. She is sculpted lounging against an armrest with a lion's face. One of her delicate hands is emerged out from her robes, clutching a sutra scroll. The bodhisattva is easily identified by her large ear lobes and protruding third eye, attributes of an immortal being. Her backside is signed with a chop and a gourd shaped signature.

This vintage 1940's hand hammered, hand forged 980 sterling silver bowl was designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Weighing a hefty 652 grams or 23 oz. the bowl measures 10 inches across and 2 inches high. The base measures 5 1/4" across. The rim is finished with a thick rope design. This piece is in beautiful condition & fully hallmarked for Spratling on the reverse.

A vintage mid century 2 section Kamo Isho Tansu made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original bronze hardware including the central Peony flower lock plates on the doors and the arabesque back plates to the drawer handles. Constructed using dovetail joinery and hardened wooden nails. Chinese Han Dynasty Green and Amber Glazed Urn, unique with the multi color glaze. The rim has a large repair nicely done . Size H 14.5" by 10" wide.

The large earthenware female figure wearing long robe with traces of paint . The figure has an open side from when the artisan finished the figure and cut off too much clay in the trimming process. No damage or restoration h. 13.75" w 4" . Very rare this large. Intact. This came from a 1920s collection of a French Canadian engineer doing rail road work in China at the time.
