Pencil-signed at the lower right margin and with the artist's black ink signature and red seal at the lower left corner of the image. Paper: 10 5/8" x 7 3/4" (image: 9 1/2” x 6 3/4”). Very good overall condition with full margins.

This is a really pretty Crown Tuscan 3-Part Candy Dish with Lid made by Cambridge Glass featuring the hand painted Charlton Rose pattern. This Candy Dish is trimmed in gold and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The hand painted Rose decoration is all very good; the gold trim has some thinning on the handles. Spratling designed this extraordinary pair of sterling wall sconces in the 1950's. Hand forged in sterling silver, each sconce measures 7 1/4" high X 7 1/4" across. Total weight of the pair is 300 grams. The sunburst composition is reminiscent of the sterling silver necklace Spratling designed for cosmetic entrepreneur & philanthropist Helena Rubenstein in the 1940's.
