It is a beautiful kimono in excellent condition. The black dye changed it's color to a current black which has a tint of brown. The silk is in a super good condition. The design is the favorite design of Kakiemon, the hoo bird and the leaves of the paulownia tree. The hoo bird has been associated with the Empress in Japan and her crest is an elegantly designed paulownia leaves.
Hakata doll was originated by a roof tile maker in the early 17C during the construction of Fukuoka castle. Hakata is located on the Kyushu island (southern island), famous to other porcelain makers such as Satsuma, Imari, Nabeshima and Hirado. This handsom groom is 7 1/2" tall and almost in mint condition. She is 8" tall in excellent condition with some minor stains on her right arm area as shown in one of the picture.
Deco in feeling this all-over fringe purse is charming and in perfect condition inside and out. For a collector, a user, or both. 7" wide, 6" long, strap measures 14" end to end.

All sterling silver pastry server in Georg Jensen's 1927 "Viking" pattern (called "Nordisk" in Danish). This is one of the very rarest of all the Jensen patterns, and was designed by Jensen himself. It is beautifully crafted of the heaviest silver and combines traditional Scandinavian motifs with an Art Deco eye for design. The reverse is marked with the old interlocked "GJ" mark...
RARE:Beautiful, early Georg Jensen art nouveau sterling and garnets pill box, c.1915. It is signed "GEORG JENSEN(embossed on base-1915 mark) 925S(embossed) STERLING DENMARK 143A". It measures 1 1/2" in diameter and 1" high. The silver flower is applied. There are a few problems with the piece. There are no dings but there are some repairs. I think the hinge has been reapplied with lead solder. and there may OR may not be a red glass stone that was applied and set in brass(at the top)...
This gown has an exceptionally beautiful red.
It is satin but feels almost like velvet. The condition is new, probably never been
used. The bottom padding was still covered with a white cloth when this Uchikake was purchased (Enlargement 5). The measurements are 53" wide and 73" long.
Beautiful Japanese wedding gown with fans and flowers. The gown looks better in real with details, new condition. It measures 51 1/2" from
sleeve to sleeve and 72" in length.
Beautiful black Japanese wedding (Uchikake) in new condition, basting stiches still intact along the sleeves and other areas. The design is from the Heian Era (794-1192AD), imperial cart in pine trees. The gown is particularly well made and look better than our old photos. The colors are beautiful (no color loss), vivid yet elegant.
