This is a really nice French Ivory Laurel 8 3/4 inch round deep serving or vegetable bowl made by McKee Glass in the 1930s. This bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. There are the usual mold marks in the bottom of the glass which is common with this type of vintage glass. The surface of the bowl is shiny. Very rare carving of the Three Wise Monkeys, sanzaru in Japanese, sitting on two logs. The one who hears no evil (kikazaru) and the one who speaks no evil (iwazaru) are sitting together. A little separated from them sits the one that sees no evil (mizaru). Carved in facet-cut (abstracted style) in soft cedar wood (sugi).

This lot includes eight marked Gorham sterling 4780 nut dishes . Two are mongrammed on the bottom( one of those has very faint etched numbers). 4" x 2-1/2" Total weight 6.8 ozs.

Old mask with a severe appearance. The position of the orbits is asymmetrical, the nose is long and tapered. The mouth is small open showing small carved teeth. The inner crving is clean and symmetrical with a cavity for the dancer's nose. The ears are sculpted and large in size. The holes for the passage of the carrying links are of conical sizes, certainly indicating that they were made using the technique of the reddened steel nail...

Beautiful and old butter rod guide, this long-handled model is characteristic of the Tamang ethnic group and of the Rameschap places. The surface is finely and richly carveded with symmetrical patterns inspired by basket weaving. The 2 medallions located at the top certainly bore the faces of a protective ancestor. There are obvious signs of use at the level of the large orifice which serves as a guide for the churning stick (local name is "mandani")...
