Made in Portugal Ceramic framed hand painted round Mirror, 16" diameter, 1 1/2" deep, 1 3/4" wide frame, hand painted bird, little houses with fence, very charming scenery. The condition is good.

A set of four fans (uchiwa) made of bamboo and washi (Japanese hand-made paper). Each has hand-painted pictures and signs such as three kabuki "kumadori" which is special makeup of the kabuki player and Otahuku. All have the same written seal marks, however the name of the artist is not clear. Two are painted with kakishibu (persimmon tannin) 20th century. In excellent condition. W:30.5cm H:35.5cm

An interesting modern, abstract koro. The compressed sphere with elliptical, off centered opening. A warm, brown temmoku glaze with darker brown glaze dripping from the top and stopping in controlled fashion above a well - continuing to form the unglazed foot in ogee fashion. An artist seal (three or four stylized Kanji characters within an oval) is impressed into the concave base near the foot rim. Very good condition. Some burnt on kiln residue on the foot goes to 'wabi'...

This is a really nice milk glass Colonial 4 1/2 inch two-handled candy dish with lid, featuring the hand painted Holly decoration and red trim, made by Westmoreland Glass. This candy dish bottom and lid are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The hand painted Holly decoration and red trim are very good. The candy dish is signed on the bottom WG. Blue Tole Cachepot, Planter, 16 1/4" x 8" wide-top rim, 13 1/4 x 5 1/8" wide-inside, 6 1/2" high, with scrolling vine Feather painted design on dark navy blue background, the condition is like new.

These five vintage English Ravenhead mugs are quite collectible and functional barware from which to enjoy a bit of brew. The base is panel ribbed up to smooth, clear glass. The clear handle is a good hand size, and it is all put together with two molds. The logo is of a stylized raven with RAVENHEAD above the head, GLASS beneath the claws and below is ENGLAND. Each is in excellent condition only showing a few stray, light scratches...

This is one of the Steuben animals that I have never seen before. Measuring 5" high, he was introduced in 1974, and I don't know when he was discontinued, but I know he isn't available anymore. He is in perfect condition. It is Steuben number 8293.

This is a really pretty crystal Ruby Flashed Wakefield, aka Waterford, 5 1/2 inch diameter X 4 1/2 inch high Mint Comport made by Westmoreland Glass. This Comport has the Pie Crust Edge (Ruby Flashed on the Pie Crust edge and foot) and is signed WG on the bottom. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Melusina or Melusine is a heroine in medieval European folklore. This figurine is a modernist version of her transformation into an often two-tailed mermaid or fish. Unglazed stoneware and gilt hairstyle. Little is known about Y-Keramik other than the workshop was situated in former Western Germany and that the gilding was made of 24 karat gold, this information available on paper labels on other Y-Keramik figures from the 1970's. Impressed potter’s mark “ilba” to the back...

Complete set of five Shan esoteric Buddhist images. These consist of a Buddha, three monks and a chedi. These are covered with traditional gold and back lacquer and the bodies are made from compressed powdered herbs or temple incense ash. They have a quirky abstract quality to them, their facelessness represents that the individual is inconsequential but has the potential for becoming a Buddha, on the bottom are the eight Burmese zodiac symbols based on the days of the week...
