Measuring 15.25 inches in diameter and 5.25 inches high, this magnificent and absolutely HUGE, C1920, Ohio-made, yellow ware, spongeware mixing bowl or water basin features fabulous blue sponging and is much more striking “in person” than the photos were able to capture.

The bowl sits on a 1/2” footed base and has a lovely turned edge rim. It has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery but no cracks, chips or hairlines...

Japanese print by sosaku-hanga artist Haku Maki (1924-2000), titled "Work 74-7". It shows the profile of a tree with many long, twisting branches in a beautiful navy blue color against a metallic silver background. The outlines of the tree are embossed, giving it more depth and contrast. Numbered 83/153 and signed in pencil, with Maki's red signature stamp in the corner. Framed. Westmoreland made the pattern Bramble (maple leaf composite) in the 1950's. This milkglass covered candy has a 7" diameter. In mint condition.

Oversized limited edition etching and relief print by Ouchi Makoto (1926-1989) titled “Yuki” (“Snow”). It is undated, but likely dates from the 1970s. The image is pencil-signed, numbered 13/35, and titled in kanji in the lower section. The paper size is: 37”V x 25”H. Very good overall condition. There is a small abrasion in the paper just under the penciled kanji title and the paper in the upper left corner is slightly wrinkled...

Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. It was produced for only one year, 1931-2, and is scarce today. Offered here is the footed sherbet dish in excellent condition. I have 7 available, price is per sherbet. Chinese Leaded Crystal Quanyin with wood stand. The Quanyin is beautifully carved. The wood base is carved as a lotus blossom. Base and figure can be separated. Circa mid 20th century. The figure measures 10" tall, with the base 11.5" tall.

This drum handle is still provided with the wooden wedge which is used to fix it on the drum. The top shows 3 faces with open and threatening mouths, each face is separated by the Shaivite trisul. The center part is a very fine dorgi framed by spherical basketwork patterns the whole giving a shape that fits well in the hand. The triangular point shows a very beautiful sculptural work. ON each angle is a Makara mouth with wide open eyes and whose hands grip very realistically sculpted snakes...
