A wonderful statue of the Bodhisattva Kwan Yin carved from precious aloeswood. The distinct and pleasant fragrance of aloeswood is the result of a special kind of mould and is highly treasured for its use in incense and perfumes among various Eastern religions. This Kwan Yin has been decorated with gold and silver pigment. Small losses. Republic period.

PAIR OF MOUNTED OLD CHINESE JADE CARVING PLAQUES, DATING TO THE REPUBLIC PERIOD
A fine pair of larger carvings of an old man and a boy with a bird and two boys in a garden. Finely made and mounted in a low grade silver metal mounts, so that they can be carried and used as ornaments. Both carved in a white/celadon jade.
Size: ca. 70 mm. long each and weighing 107 grams total.
Japanese Wooden Box, 2 sections, 16" high, 14" wide, 7" high for each section, "Kanji" written in front, and "Kutani" Kanji was written on the side. The condition is old and good.
New Martinsville / Viking made this red swan in the 1950's. It is 11.5" long and about 5" narrow. In mint condition.

Exceptionally rare early 20th century small, complete betel box with za-yun pattern, emulating English embroidery stitching. There are some cracks on the lacquer surface as well minor losses on the edge (especially on the inner box) all visible in enlargements. Lovely low glaze ceramic garden stand. Ornamented with cut out lotus flower, water, tree and bat designs throughout. Top two tiers are circular shape, with very top modeling a green cut out design with yellow circular ring. Bottom of stand is hexagonal shape.

This beautiful Purple Carnival Three Fruits 14 Piece Punch Bowl Set was made by Westmoreland Glass. This was a limited production set. This Set consists of the Punch Bowl, Base and 12 Punch Cups. The Bowl and Base together measure 11 inches high. The Bowl is 10 1/4 inches in diameter. The Cups each measure 2 1/4 inches high X 3 1/8 inches in diameter. All 14 pieces are signed WG and are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This would be a beautiful centerpiece for any party...

A stunning pair of gold gilt mirror image cloisonné hat stands. Often used as vases, the front of each hat stand features a vase of flowers with a peaceful scene of a man in a boat viewing the horizon. The sides and back have assorted images of Chinese scholar article and Buddhist symbols. Decorative trim work along the top rim and bottom rims, are a nice finishing touch to the enameled background which is a dark rust color with thin gold colored cloisens creating the shape of tiny clouds...
Ca 1940 This boudoir set features a beveled glass hand mirror, comb and brush. All teeth are present on the comb. Quite heavy, it is unmarked and shows very light wear.

Fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase with undulating rim in red (exterior) and white (interior) glass. The technique for fusing the two colors of glass is known as incamiciato. The vase measures 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall and is 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) in diameter. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. This has some minor wear to the base as expected. Unusual basket form similar to Archimede Segusos' foglia designs. The form is colored a subtle gold pink with bullicante bubbles and ribs. This fine sculptural expression demonstrates the skill of the Murano glassblowers, measures 7"w x 6"d x 9"h, and is unmarked.
Great miniature Daum Nancy cameo vase with a winter scene. I have had this vase in many shapes and sizes, but never so small. It appears to be much harder to create one this small than a larger one. The vase measures 2 1/2" tall x 1" wide. It is signed, and has no damage, with the exception of some of the original gold worn on the very top.
Finely hand carved Japanese Obidome in the shape of a Hannya Noh mask with horns and shiny metal eyes. A Hannya mask in Noh represents a mad woman who turns into a demon out of jealousy. She is vicious and haunts the “other woman” to death. The term, 'Hannya' is used today by a husband who happens to come home late without good enough excuses...
The finest servant dolls, Shitei (Shittei,Shicho,Shiccho) from Kyoto, Japan. They are the court servants from Heian Imperial Court and part of Hina dolls displayed for the Girls Day (Hina Matsuri Festival) in Japan. Some damages in the toes of one doll and clothing.
The tallest doll is 8 inches tall.
This mid 20th century carved ivory netsuke of a monkey is 1 ½” high, 1 5/8” wide and 1 ¼” thick. It depicts a sitting monkey holding a fruit branch. The signature is on the bottom of his back leg. It is in great condition.
