1950's Chinese Silver Filigree Jadeite Carved Plaque Bracelet Marked "Silver"

It is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) in inner circumference by 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) in inner diameter. The jadeite is about 0.78 inch (2 cm) wide. It is 58.5 gram.

It is tarnished and has inclusions at the jadeite (as seen in the photos).

Spratling designed this extraordinary pair of sterling wall sconces in the 1950's. Hand forged in sterling silver, each sconce measures 7 1/4" high X 7 1/4" across. Total weight of the pair is 300 grams. The sunburst composition is reminiscent of the sterling silver necklace Spratling designed for cosmetic entrepreneur & philanthropist Helena Rubenstein in the 1940's. The sconces are in beautiful vintage condition. Both are signed WILLIAM SPRATLING TAXCO MEXICO, eagle 30.

Nice old Cambodian lacquered basket. Very few things survived the reign of the Khmer Rouge which makes old baskets quite rare. Circa 70 years old, there are some old repairs noted in the enlargements. D: 30cm/11.8in and H: 11cm/4.2in.

Japanese shin hanga woodblock print by Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995) titled "Heirinji Temple Bell" dated in the left margin 1951. The print is pencil-signed in the lower right margin with the artist's red seal above. Early edition likely dating from the 1950s/60s. Paper size: 15 5/8" x 10 5/8" (image: 14 1/2" x 9 1/2"). Very good overall condition. There are some tiny printing smudges in the lower left margin...

Striking Showa Period c.1930 negoro lacquered tray. Negoro lacquering techniques were developed in the Edo Period at Negoro Temple in Wakayama Pref. putting on layers of black lacquer then covering with red lacquer and burnishing until the black rubbed through. The motif are old coins in raised relief of lacquer. Ask for shipping quote. L:14" x W:9".

Hefty 50 grams! Unsigned, yet having owned several Peruzzi pieces, who else but the Florence Peruzzi Bros could produce this superbly chased ornate early collectible unsigned 800 silver lipstick case. Nice heft at 50 grams or 1.7 oz on postal scale, 2 1/4" x 3/4" and showing an 8mm bezel set turquoise color cab. Early marks: "coffin", 800 & 10. mild mirror clouding, yet the mirror is intact; see #5. Fab vintage condition...

This is a yurt ornament made by Lakai Uzbeks living in the northern region of Afghanistan. It is estimated to date to the mid to late 20th century and is in excellent condition. The embroidery is satin stitch in silk thread forming traditional geometric designs with a cotton paisley lining on the reverse. The textile measures 11.8 x 86.5 cm including the elaborate tassels and crown knots.

This depression glass cup & saucer set is the Newport or Hairpin pattern. Made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's, the color is amethyst, though Hazel Atlas called it 'Burgundy' in the original ads. The classic sterling silver Louvre bowl. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Round and curved; Overhanding rim interspersed with scallops. Open support comprising alternating vertical leaves and tendrils. Raised foot. Visible hand hammering. Designed ca 1910, it reflects the master’s love of nature. So-called the Louvre bowl because an example in that museum’s collection. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1945-77) and no. 19A. Very good condition.

This rust colored copper oxide monochrome has a gorgeous tea dust glaze. A chinese scholar's object used for collecting, this beautiful porcelain monochrome is a wonderful decorative piece as well as a small flower vase. Lovely white overlay glass lamp base with enameled floral decoration. Gilding accents the edges of the cut facets. The opaque white overlay is beautifully decorated with swags of roses. The top of the lamp is finished with a nicely engraved collar that connects to the electrical hardware. The lamp has been fairly recently rewired.

White and blue porcelain incense burner. The boat is led by a young boy. The decoration of birds, flowers and waves is painted in cobalt blue hight-fired under glassure. No mark, Japanese Kyushu kilns work probably from Mikawachi (Hirado kilns, late 19th century.Meiji. Length.375mm. Good condition, some slight fired defects. An identical model but without the boatman (missing or broken?) is housed at the Los Angeles Museum (L.A.C.M.A).

This is an intaglio cut crystal white wine goblet, signed HAWKES, in the Gravic Fruit pattern, with luscious hand cut and frosted plums, apples, and pears suspended from beautifully incised branches; with knopped stem and square incised foot.
