Shino tea bowl with abstract gourd and ivy design by the representative modern Shino master Yano Keisen (1870-1965). Suitable for Autumn tea ceremony, finely painted ivy gives a beautiful sentiments and the gourds adds warmness onto this Shino bowl.
Fine condition with no chip, no cracks, expected kiln-cracks(kamakizu) are presented as a character of Shino-ware.

This is a really great depression glass pink Sierra, aka Pinwheel, Oval Serving or Meat Platter made by Jeannette Glass from 1931 to 1933. This platter measures 11 inches long X 7 3/4 inches wide. Simple and beautiful silver beaker or small vase with flaring rim and a neat “pearl” border at the base. Made by Van Kempen, Begeer & Vos (1919-60), purveyors to the Dutch Court. Marks: KBV, Dutch silver marks for 835 and year mark for 1921. Height "3¼/ 8 cm. Condition: small dent 2 centimeters from the base (cf photo).

Small pink rock crystal teapot. It is carved with 5 dragons cut with a grinding wheel in high relief. One of them serves as a handle, another as a pouring spout and a third as a gripping fretel. The last two are flanked on either side of the teapot. The 5 dragons have a strong cultural significance in Chinese art. Wooden base, finely crafted with stylized dragons. Chinese work from the 20th century, probably from the 1960s. Good condition. 16cm x 12cm

Vintage Chinese Lavender Jadeite Carved 14K Gold & Diamond Thick Plaque Pendant with Shoulo & Calligraphy Marked "14K"

Japanese cigarette case, damascened with silver and gold on steel, c 1930's. Decoration in Komai style of a temple gate, pagodas and Mt Fuji. The back with a Fukui mark under butterfly and 24K. In addition two marks resembling stylized birds’ wings on a sgraffito ground. Width "3 ¾ / 9,2 cm, height "3 ¼ / 8,2 cm. Condition: some wear to the black surface, otherwise fine (cf pics).

This depression glass plate is the Newport or Hairpin pattern. Made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's, the plate measures 5 7/8 inches in diameter. Excellent condition. I have 5 available, price is per plate. See my other listings for more in this pattern.
