It comes with its originally signed and sealed wooden box and an appraisal of the Daitoku-ji Temple, Kyoto. This temple is very famous for its knowledge about chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony)...
Being offered is a fine circa 1960 sterling silver bowl by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico; handwrought silver bowl with three looped handles & pairs of vertical incised lines. Dimensions: 7 inches diameter (excluding handles) by 2 1/2 inches tall. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Excellent gauge of silver, great weight, true Spratling quality.
