Biku, fishing basket, used by a fisherman in rivers. It is made of bamboo strips and urushi painted. It has a cord made of bast fiber. Some spaces between bamboo strips, but no break. in good condition. The first half of the 20th century. H:24cm, W:22cm

Republic period, circa 1950, carved jade miniature of a sage pinching it's ear lobe. The jade stone is shaped like a pebble. There are two medallions on the top of the shoulders of the stone. It measures 1.5" by 1.5" by .6".

Huge maku (curtain) made of many sake-bukuro which are recycled. It has many mending patches and stitches. The first half of the 20th century. 2m56cm x 128cm

This porcelain dish was produced in Bavaria, Germany by Tirschenreuth in the 1960s. It measures 7 5/8 inches long, 5 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. It is artist signed “Andrews.” The porcelain dish is formed in the shape of a leaf and has a handle on one end. The inside of the dish is hand painted with vividly colored flowers and raspberries. There is heavy gilding around the rim and on the handle...

A beautiful vintage enamel silver Chinese locket pendant,with bats motif in excellent condition. D:3cm

Lovely English 1920's pink guilloche enamel sterling 8 day clock. This great little octagonal clock measures 3 1/8" by 3 1/8". A finely chased silver edge accents the guilloche enameling. The clock face is a beige color with black deco numerals and dark blue hands. The face is covered with a slightly convex glass. Brass easel back. Marks include an anchor, a lion, and an "A"-Birmingham, sterling, 1925. In addition there are makers marks which appear to be ABLP. Excellent condition.

This porcelain demitasse or mocha cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1929. The saucer measures 4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 ½ inches high. The set has a bright marigold yellow ground. Heavy silver overlay in art deco style decorates both pieces. The design is linear and geometric at the same time. The size and shape are great for after dinner coffee. Condition: Excellent

They are 0.78 inch (2 cm) long by 0.98 inch (2.5 cm) wide. The total weight is 8 gram.

They have inclusions, missing seed pearls, flea bite chips, surface wears and scratches, and tarnished metals (as seen in the photos).

The flared rim over narrowing sides decorated with a continuous scene of figures in a landscape setting meeting others bearing banners with gifts finely painted in rich tones of underglaze blue. In the distance a man leads a buffalo beside a cliff face. The top and bottom with incised scroll borders. The inside glazed white. The base left bare...

Thinly potted with a branching stem bearing graceful leaves that frame a large peony blossom on the central stem, all with delicately combed details below a line border,.

The bowl covered all over in a warm olive-green glaze. The back of the bowl left bare with a single line upper border, resting on a short base.

Beautiful set of 6 signed Steuben 9 inch tall goblets. The goblets are marina blue and are decorated in the “Fountain” pattern to match the Lenox China Fountain table settings. The pattern was made for Marshall Field and Co. In the 1920s. A photograph of these and the china is shown on page 49 of “The Glass of Frederick Carder” by Paul Gardner. The stem ware are shape 6565 in the factory line drawings.

Japanese woodblock print entitled "Kanetsuke Hall Bell Tower, Okayama" by the artist Kawase Hasui. The bell tower stands high above the other rooftops as the rain falls on the street below. I figure with an umbrella can be seen in the distance walking with an umbrella. The wet street reflects the latticework of a window. With black 6mm seal. Publisher: Watanabe Shozaburo. Vintage glass ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) in ball shape, its surface covered with concentric “eyes” and dots, suspiciously resembling “Jellyfish Eyes” by Takashi Murakami. Beautifully made, very pleasant patina. Diameter 0.75 Inches.

Stylish Italian 800 silver lighter. Large apple with naturalistic irregular form and striated skin. Leafing stem. Underside has inset lighter. Italian maker’s mark (1944-68) as well as script Buccellati stamp. Good condition with deep patina. Lighter not detachable or in working order.
