These beautiful candlesticks were produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the set was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called Orchid and is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2646 Low candlestick set. The color is green ceramic finish applied over crystal. Excellent condition. A Pashtun nomad's purse from Katawaz, Ghazni province, circa mid 20th century. There are blue beads along all the edges, used to ward off the evil eye. The purse has metallic trim along all the edges and fine Bokhara couching which covers the entire surface area, front and back. The beaded cord winds around the purse to keep it closed. There are two pockets inside, lined with red cotton fabric. The purse measures 6 x 11 inches when opened and elongated, 5 x 6 1/2 inches when closed...

This drum shows deep carvings, the 3 face s on top are rather unusual, they show fierceful faces , this handle has been collected from Chepang tribes from Hetauda district, this district is south of kathmandu , Chepang are more or less Gipsy people living in forests and they are moving often and are living in established houses. In the past 10 years they have been approach by christian missionaries and few years ago I saw many Dhyangro from this district arriving on the market in Kathmandu...

A Japanese print done by the noted contemporary Japanese artist, Tadashi Nakayama (1927~). The image is a view of a section of a shrine building at Heian Jingu in Kyoto. Tadashi Nakayama is known for creating prints combining traditional elements from ukiyoe woodblocks and Western oil paintings. Age: 1961. Size: length 28.75" height 24.5"

Knitted bag made of asa (hemp or ramie) and kakishibu (persimon tannin) is coated with. It has mending parts, however, in good condition. It was used by a mountain worker. The first half of the 20th century. W:39cm, L:36cm
