Finely carved chief sceptre with a genie sitting on its top, surmounting a squatting ancestor, under which are geometric relief designs leading to the lower part. Wood, with nice glossy patina. Chinese dingyao bowl of shallow conical form with lobed rim. The widely flaring sides divided into six lobes, with indentations along the rim corresponding to thin raised lines radiating from the circular inner well.

Condition: Very good overall condition. Some kiln grit and a firing flaw on one of the lobes.

A brilliant red transparent lucite jewelry box or dresser box, the hinged lid inset with a sterling silver medallion illustrating a pair of lovebirds. The interior of the lid has a small round mirror. The medallion is stamped "Sterling" and has a design patent number registered in 1945.
