A very rarely seen seascape. "Made in Japan" stamp on verso.

This glass inside painting snuff bottle is 3 inches high and 1 ¾ inches wide. One side depicts well-known scenery of Huang Shan(Hu Bei Province); the other side depicts four cranes under a pine tree. The artist, Hong Sheng, is from Shantou City, Canton Province. It has an ivory spoon and cap made of serpentine. It came with a lacquered wood box and it is in good condition.

This is a charming ivory letter opener, a perfect present for the ivory or tribal art collector, probably carved by Alaskan Eskimos, ca 1950s, highlighted by a sleek walrus form handle, with beautifully carved tusks; flippers and tail. Measurement: length: 8 3/4 inches. Condition: excellent no chips or cracks.

An earthenware terracotta bottle vase and stopper. The vase is decorated with transfer printed "famille rose" enamels depicting flowers birds and marine life. This item was made by Watcombe pottery, Torquay, which was operational from 1869 to 1883. The base carries the impressed date mark for October 1878. Condition - very good - there is a small chip to the footrim (please view enlargements) and a tiny chip to the underside of the cover; there are also minor losses to the enamels...

This 1940~1950 carved green quartz snuff bottle is 4 ¼” high, 2 ½” wide and 1 ¼” thick. It depicts seven birds resting on a plum tree. Aside some natural cracks and light yellow spots, it is in great condition.

This very well carved small lapis snuff bottle is 2 inches tall, 1 5/8 inches wide and 3 /4 of an inch in depth. It is 1970¡¯s product. One side depicts two cranes standing under a pine tree; the other side is plain. The color of the lapis is quite dark and interesting. It is in excellent condition.

A lovely pairing of the bodhisattva diety Kwan Yin riding a Chinese lion or fu dog. The Kwan Yin is set in a leisurely pose with her medicine bottle. Intricate geometric patterns with motifs of clouds and dragons are decorated throughout the statue. Age: mid-20th century Size: length 16" width 7.5" height 25.5"

Japanese contemporary ceramic vase for ikebana, or flower arrangements. It has a very interesting, gritty textural surface and color scheme of blues, purples, and brownish-greens. The interior of the vase is slightly ribbed with vertical lines going down its sides, with a yellow/brown/green and blue glaze. Signature on bottom. A beuatiful old Chinese ghost buster soap stone carving, with five busted small ghosts. His name is call "Zhong Kui",In Chinese folklores, Zhong Kui is a god who exorcises ghosts and evil spirits.
