Regal free-flowing bamboo and rattan basket from one of the masters of bamaboo basket making, Sakaguchi Sounsai b. 1899-1967. Studied under Tanabe Chikuunsai I and was active in the Osaka and Kyoto region. Featured on page 90 of 'Masters of Bamboo by Melissa Rinne. A beautiful Murano glass fish figurine, made most likely by Tyra Lundgren. The gold-fleck figurine has cobalt eyes and red eyelids. The figurine is 8 inches (20 cm) long, 8 inches high and 3 inches (7,5 cm) deep (fin-end to fin-end). It is in fine condition without chips, cracks or repairs. Unsigned.

Beautiful blue Aurene pedestal foot perfume bottle with original long dauber. The base of the perfume is marked “Steuben Aurene 3174 around the polished pontil. Including the stopper, the perfume is 7 ½ inches tall. The bottle is not round but is flattened on the sides and measures 1 7/8 inches by 2 1/8 inches at the widest portion. The same bottle also appears in the literature and in the Carder Steuben Club shape gallery as shape 6438.

Pair of Chinese celadon bottle vases with an overall crackle. The top rims have a brown wash, while the base rims are left unglazed. The base glazed in the same celadon colour. The insides glazed white or else a lighter shade of celadon. Also crackle. Unmarked.

This item is circa 1970. It is signed by Freda Hubbard. It is Fenton #7253 . It is in excellent condition.

This very well carved fisherman is 10” high (11 ¼” high with base), 2 1/2” wide and 1 3/4” in depth. It is a middle 20th century product. The long bearded, smiling fisherman wears an old style top and pants. His right hand is holding a long bamboo fishing pole; his left hand is holding two fish on a string. The carved wood base is a replacement. It is in excellent condition.

A black and white Aboriginal subject earthenware dish or wall plaque, made circa 1965, by Studio Anna, Australia. condition - there are small under-rim chips and there is a crackled glaze to the reverse; no repairs or restoration. 24.5cm (9.7inches) diameter.

Being offered is a circa 1940 sterling silver salad set by William Spratling of Taxco, Mexico. Handwrought servers with allover spot hammering; an applied flattened ball at the end terminal of the handles; hammered bowl and tines. Dimensions: fork - 9 1/4 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide; spoon - 9 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Typical of Spratling, great design, construction and weight.

Embroidered in couching stitch ("basma") in mostly silk thread on a fine linen ground, it measures 125 W x 134 cm L. Some minor staining consistent with its age (mid to late 20th century)...
