Nice bar accessory for the cocktail buff, this bone handled sterling silver measuring jigger was made by the New York firm John Hasselbring, early 20th century, makers mark, Sterling and Style No. 40 stamped on jigger, and silver base stamped Sterling. Measurements: 5 1/2"L x 2" H; Jigger measures 1 3/4" H. Handle width-1"; Condition is very good vintage with minor pin dots inside jigger. Repair to knob that attaches handle to back of jigger.

Iconic ornament worn by the people of West Sumba island in eastern Indonesia. This particular mamuli type is called "pewisie", the motifs at the bottom are stylized horse heads. Silver tested. These beautiful goblets were designed by Reuben Haley and produced by the Consolidated Glass Company in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. These goblets hold 9 oz and are approximately 5 inches tall. The color is green ceramic wash over crystal. Freely executed floral motifs in vivid colors adorn this hand-embroidered napkin from southern Afghanistan. The embroidery technique is satin stitch in silk thread on a fine cotton linen ground. The composition overall is very nicely balanced, with an eight-petaled red flower at the center. This textile measures 41.5 x 43 cm and is in excellent condition.

1930's Japanese Repousse Silver (tested silver with acid silver test kit) Chocolate Pot with Iris Marked "Kurokawa Sei Jungin" 純銀 - AS IS

It is 9.8 inches (25 cm) tall by 7.8 inches (20 cm) wide. It is 952.5 gram.

The pot has been repaired (resoldered) at the handle and flowers at the lid. It is also tarnished and has dents at the spout, cut marks at the lip, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...

An antique green glazed porcelain bottle vase with the glaze stopping just below the top rim revealing an all over ge-type crackle with dark grey (iron wire) and gold (golden thread) crackle. The base rim unglazed with the base revealing the same ge-type crackle. Unmarked.

Vintage Japanese okimono of a sitting dog carved in ittobori (one cut) style typical for the Hida school. Very clever rendition of the animal, much more creative and challenging as a number of intersecting planes versus natural familiar rounded lines. Very clever use of ichii (yew wood), its texture nicely imitating fur of the animal. Wonderful face, in excellent condition, pyrographic (burned) stamp of the maker on the bottom. Height 2 3/4 inches.

A vintage sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a syringe by Gorham. These were called “Martini Spikes” when sold by Gorham in the 1960s. The functioning plunger allows vermouth to be drawn up into the syringe and then dispensed in precisely-calibrated medical dosages into your favorite cocktail. The syringe originally cost $10. The syringe is accompanied by an illustrated instruction card and the original fitted box.
