Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead with pink body and twisted ribbons forming a brocade pattern. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece, in perfect condition. Height 0.65 inches.

A king-sized cotton duvet cover from Nepal, measuring 111 x 74½" inches (43.7 x 29.3 cm) in purple, red and green. The viúvavajra ("crossed vajra") and chevron motifs are depicted in wool thread in chain stitch. Condition: Excellent. The vajra (meaning diamond or thunderbolt) is believed to represent firmness of spirit and spiritual power and is displayed in the national emblem of Bhutan.

A Labijar kilim from Afghanistan, made of sheep's wool and from the late 20th century. It measures 72 x 108 cm. This little rug shows the medallion design and double interlock designs typical of the kilims from this area, inhabited by Uzbeks, Ersari Turkomen, and other tribal groups.

This is a really nice elegant glass crystal mist yellow Oriole 6 inch high Bell made by Westmoreland Glass. This bell is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. This is one of the Steuben animals that I have never seen before. Measuring 5" high, he was introduced in 1974, and I don't know when he was discontinued, but I know he isn't available anymore. He is in perfect condition. It is Steuben number 8293.

These five vintage English Ravenhead mugs are quite collectible and functional barware from which to enjoy a bit of brew. The base is panel ribbed up to smooth, clear glass. The clear handle is a good hand size, and it is all put together with two molds. The logo is of a stylized raven with RAVENHEAD above the head, GLASS beneath the claws and below is ENGLAND. Each is in excellent condition only showing a few stray, light scratches...

Ink and colors on paper, excellent impressionist rendition of a classic theme, superb free brushwork. Signed and sealed SHOSEN in lower right corner. Paper mounts, wooden scroll ends, overall in great condition. Scroll size 51x22.5 inches, painting size 13x18 inches.

Vintage Japanese Komai metal obidome (sash ornament) with gold decoration of chrysanthemum flowers. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, it is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Nice design, superb quality crisp metalwork, two fittings for a cord on the back. Length 2.08 inches.

Hong Sung Dam is a woodblock print artist who was a leader of the minjung, the peoples' political movement that arose from the ashes of the Gwangju Massacre where the Korean government slaughtered hundreds (some witnesses say thousands) of their own citizens in the streets in response to demonstrations in Gwangju...
