This really pretty amber, with Gold trim, 8 Sided, Footed Comport, was made by McKee Glass. The Comport measures 3 inches high X 9 3/4 inches in diameter across the top. Unique Japanese Uchikake (wedding gown), embroidered in thick light blue silk, the liner is red silk without padding except at the bottom hem. The embroidery and gold couching (some silver) work are all done by hand. The pattern is from ancient Chinese "Shokko nishiki". The colors of silk looks different on different parts of the gown. We laid the gown under the sun light when we took extra photos. The light changed everything...

It is 2 inches (5.3 cm) internal diameter by 0.78 inch (2 cm) wide, and 2.6 inches (6.6 cm) external diameter. The jadeite are 19 mm wide. It weighs 21.9 gram.

Porcelain polychrome statue of the noted sage, Liu Hai. Liu Hai was the noted 10th century alchemist who learned the secret of immortality from the three legged frog, Jin chan (Chan chu). The frog is known for beckoning wealth. Later, in China and Japan, the combination of Liu Hai and the frog became the symbol of fortune and wealth. This majolica pitcher has an unusual anchor and chain pattern around the top and pale pink flowers with green leaves on a cream background in the center. It has a brown basket weave bottom. There is some clay shrinkage on the inside. See picture for details. There are no marks.
This Miao Chinese ethnic minority jacket would have been worn by a teenage girl for festival. All the batik work was hand-painted and all stitches and embroidery was done by hand. The row of silver hemisphere's across the back represent the "bubble" in the Miao creation myth.
The jacket is approx 70 years old and is from Zhi Jin

This Native American watch cuff has 2 turquoise sea-foam nuggets in a blue-green color with lots of pitting and an irregular surface. It also has a piece of red coral. Both the turquoise and the coral are set in toothed bezels. It has the letters "BS" incised in the back of the bracelet.
