This is a RETRO LADIES PENDANT WATCH by EBEL. Dial reads: Ebel... and has a Subsidiary Second hand. Swiss Mechanical Movement. The Case is Rose Gold-Filled and Date this One Circa 1945- 1965. Keeps Excellent Time.

Iconic ornament worn by the people of West Sumba island in eastern Indonesia. This particular mamuli type is called "pewisie", the motifs at the bottom are stylized horse heads. Silver tested. Cf.: Rodgers, Susan "Power and Gold: Jewelry from Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines" from the Collection of the Barbier-Muller Museum Geneva, similar piece no. 124. Dimension: 7.8 cm long, weight: 28 g. Condition: few dents and granulation lost.

Details and usage really unknown, but would be a sort of old Japanese architectural wooden tool, like size or form sample of mortise (for mortise joint with a combination of mortise and tenon). Gorgeous large vase with a velvety matte finish shading from white to pastel blue. The pattern is diamond quilted design with white lining inside the vase. Circa 1895. Pontil is smooth ground polish. EXCELLENT CONDITION!

An antique aubergine Peking Glass wine cup. It is molded glass, cut/grinded with a short carved foot. Chinese glass was largely used to imitate more precious materials such as white jade, Lapis Lazuli and other valuable minerals.

In Tibetan Buddhism, the Kartika, or Drigug, is a ritual flaying knife used in burial rituals, with the handle crafted as a dorje. A tool of the wrathful female deities known as Dakinis, the kartika symbolizes the cutting of all things material, symbolized by the human body. The blade is left dull (never sharpened) because it was used in a ritual representing the flaying of flesh and not for the actual purpose.

A weaving pulley in the shape of a woman with pinned-up coiffure ending in two horns. Carved from hardwood with dark patina, the reel is worked from a nut or another material. Collected by the Swiss ethnologist Charlotte von Graffenried, author of the book "Akan Goldweights". Condition: traces of usage, the body and one horn with a split. Dimension: c. 15.5 cm high x 7.4 cm wide.

A beautiful blue glass bull figurine (with white latimo glass horns), designed by either Napoleone Martinuzzi, or, designed in his style. The figurine is 11 inches (28 cm) long and 7 inches (17,8 cm) high. There is a chip on the figurines tail and a chip to its bottom application (please see 4th and 5th pictures) - otherwise, it is in good condition. There are lots of bubbles in the glass and some red stripes in the glass...

Japanese Earthenware Studio Vase, with dripping oily glaze, maybe Seto ware, 9 3/4" high, 4 1/2" diameter-top rim, 4 1/4" diameter-bottom rim, oily drippy glaze applied just over half way down, rest of glaze is chestnut brown color. Lots of glare in the photographs. The condition is good, no damages.

This Tibetan wool sash measures 12.7 cm x 340.4 cm in length including the silky fringes. The tigma (cross) motif is an ancient good luck charm among Tibetans and here it is depicted in a discontinuous weft pattern design. These sashes are traditionally worn to secure the traditional Tibetan attire called a chuba. The high lustre of the wool is attributed to the high lanolin content of the goat wool in the high altitude regions of the Tibetan plateau...

Rare Nuo mask of Xiao Gui, the "Little Ghost" with his pointed cap. Half mask designed to facilitate talking and singing. During the Nuo ritual, the whole village wants to capture him because of his malevolent power.

Sculpted mid century bowl in sommerso with murrines, cane, and gold foil.
