An Eames era ashtray, Germany, c 1960. Pale blue and clear glass overlay, with a silver lip at one end. The silver addition with German marks: stamped Von Häfen (in Hamburg) and 835. The base with inscribed mark xeix (?). Width "6 ¼/15,5 cm. Condition: barely visible nick where the silver lip has been fixed to the glass, otherwise fine.

Lovely old hooked rug, still strong colors, with Welcome sign amidst red, blue, black, and white flowers, green foliage, a tweed background with black borders, early 20th century.
