These 8 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. They are decorated with the pattern known as “Rothschild Birds”. The porcelain is molded with a raised basket weave border. Colorful birds sit in a tree with a necklace hanging from the branches. Being offered is a rare circa 1955 sterling silver bowl by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Masterfully Handwrought scalloped bowl with allover spot hammering. Dimensions: 4 1/2 inches by 4 inches by 2 inches tall. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Weight almost 6 oz. Whether for condiments, paper clips as a desk object etc etc — with imagination, a multitude of uses.

A wonderful sterling and cut glass muffineer measuring 8 ½ inches tall. The glass is by Pairpoint and is cut with sprays of foliage and is mounted in sterling fittings by Spalding & Co.. The underside of the sterling foot is marked “Spalding & Co., Sterling, 925/1000, 164.” Spaulding & Co. of Chicago was incorporated in 1888 and was then taken under the control of Gorham in the 1920s. The muffineer is in beautiful condition.
