Incredible copper brass, and mother-of-pearl crab dish, Mexico, c.1945. One of the most exciting table wear pieces from Mexico, unsigned. It measures 19" long by 13" wide by 4" high and is very heavy weight. Excellent condition except for two small bits of bright copper showing through the patina......$25 for insured USA shipping plus NYS residents pay sales tax.

A unique piece, made of a tropical wood, 12 1/4" by 6" by 3 1/4", the box hinged, opening from the top, revealing scooped-out recesses when opened. A bird incised with a burning tool and the date 1964 also so incised appear on the front portion that opens out. On the sides, likewise, a design is burned into the wood. This appears to me to be of Caribbean (Haitian?), Mexican/Central American or South American origin, though I suppose it could be African (I think, much less likely)...

Two arms, each comprising two open quadrilateral scrolls inset at center with volute scroll terminating in buds overhanging sides. Each arm terminates in socket. Measuring 9.75 inches in diameter and 3.75 inches high, this gorgeous, Ohio-made, circa 1920's, yellowware fruit bowl features fabulous blue sponging with gold gilt highlights along its decoratively embossed and scalloped rim.

The bowl sits upon a one inch high foot and has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery. No chips, cracks, or hairlines. One teeny, tiny fleabite on rim too small to be photographed with any clarity...

"Tiffany Windows" murrines vase by Fratelli Toso is documented in Leslie Pino's "Fratelli Toso, Italian Glass 1854-1980", P. 68. This vessel is amazing in good light and an excellent example of the Murano glassblowers' skills. The transparency of the murrines allows the light to flow through nicely and remind one of the "colors of Murano." The Tiffany Windows series dates to the 1960's. This beauty is 6" tall and in in perfect condition.

Offered is this beautiful set of six glass stems, made by Bimini Werkstette, around 1930. Each glass is just under 6 inches (15 cm) tall and they are in very good condition. The glass is extremely light and delicate. Unsigned, but guaranteed to be by Bimini (Bimini stems are shown on page 67 of Judith Miller's book, '20th century glass' - shown in last picture here).
