Interesting Modern Glass vessel depicting a stylized expression of a tree branch covered with abstract crawling critters and a realistic rendering of a glass ladybug. There are similar examples of Memphis style and application technique in Leslie Pina's ITALIAN GLASS. On pages 224-226, there are similar pieces attributed to Andrea Anastasio of Memphis. Diminutive fazzoletto vase made from latticino and zanfrico canes. Measuring 4"x4"x2.75"h., the vase bears a worn but identifiable Seguso label from the mid-fifties.

Combining the techniques of incalmo and sommerso, this Modern design by Archimede Seguso exudes warmth. This form is documented in Leslie Pinas ITALIAN GLASS pgs. 145 & 150. Measuring 7.5"dia. x 2.25"h., the vessel is in good condition, with a few minor scratches at the base, unmarked.

Striking, tall, double sommerso vase form by Fratelli Toso. Interior gather of soft gold toned transparent glass emerges in sommerso from a heavy green lip, cased in crystal. The form is blown into a rib mold with green canne applied at the high points of the ribs. This vase is a fine example of mid-century innovation of traditional techniques. Measuring 6.75" (top dimension) x 12" tall, the vase is in good condition, bears the J.I. CO. import label, unmarked.

Classic vase form in mezza filigrana using lattimo and transparent copper blue threads. The form is augmented with side applications of basilica rope in crystal with gold aventurine and a crimped crystal lip decoration with gold aventurine. Measuring 6"dia.x 9"h., the vase is in excellent condition and bears portions of its round silver foil Made in Italy label described in Leslie Pina's ITALIAN GLASS, page 15.

This is a truly elegant shaped TOBO vase by Erich and Ingrid Triller. It measures 6 3/8" (16cm) tall. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. The unusual glaze is a yellow ochre, and one of the finest examples of the Triller's artistry. Mint condition.

Skillfully sculpted in the late 1800's, this exquisite leaf compote is shrouded in a generous coating of gold aventurine. The leaf portion is very thin and masterfully executed freehand. The stem is hollow, and it and the foot are blown into a rib mold and are hot worked into a spiral pattern. At around age 120, the leaf compote is in perfect condition. Measuring 3.5"x6"x6.5"h., the piece is unmarked.

Exquisitely executed shell bowl composed of transparent blue, green and gold aventurine canne. The shell channels the colors of Venice and its sun and waters. Measuring 4.5"x5"x2"h, the piece is in excellent condition, unmarked.

Modern lighting design thought to be a Gio Ponti design. A ceiling chandelier in the same design is on page 96 of CATALOGUE RAISONNE' by Anna Venini.

The sophisticated designer arrangement of murrine in this paperweight is notable. The leaf murrine can be found in other Toso paperweights. The green center of the flower murrine is nicely tied in to the leaf motif. The murrine are cased in crystal and this lattice type layer of murrine gives the weight a nice airy quality. Measuring 3.75 dia. x 2.75"h., the paperweight is in excellent condition, unmarked.

Stunning arrangement by Flavio Poli. All three pieces are sommerso, in transparent ruby, cased in an ultra light tint of green. The pieces are crisp, exhibiting purity in form and color that is synonymous with Flavio Poli's designs. The bowl is one of the finest in this shape that I have seen. The vases are 3.5"dia. x 8.5h and the bowl is 5.75" x 6.75" x 2.5"h. All three pieces bear the S.V.C.C. VETRI D'ARTE label of Polis company

Sophisticated sommerso shell form by Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte in soft amber glass cased in crystal, with a generous interior layer of gold leaf. The shell contains a double layer of controlled bubbles which add an interesting visual texture. Measuring 5.5"x5.5"x2.25"h, the shell form is in great condition, with normal wear to the base consistent with its age, unmarked

Nice large centerpiece bowl with the starry nights design in lattimo glass, with the design expressed using aventurine on a crystal case over latimo glass. The starry nights design is well documented as Fratelli Toso. The bowl is nicely sculpted into a gondola form and the four feet are sculpted from the generous case of crystal on the exterior. This fine piece is in perfect condition, measures 16"w x8"d x7"h, and bears a portion of its Nora Fenton import label.

Sophisticated faceted vessel's purity of form and color suggest Flavio Poli. I have seen similar types of pieces attributed to Poli. The smoke and golden interior colors are soft and appear to float. This piece is in good condition and is the essence of good modern minimalist design. Measuring 1.5"x1.5"x5"h, the form retains a worn but readable import label.

Lovely vintage Saint Lawrence seal (not seal but type of deep woods animal) fur cape with fold-over collar that extends to create slit pockets, held together with one fur hook and a beautiful detailed silhouette featuring fully lined pink doupioni silk, monogrammed, Wilhelm's Albany label, circa 1930. Size: Shoulder to shoulder-19"; Drop: Front-23", Back-28"; Sweep-50". Condition is excellent vintage.

This extraordinary and sensuous ceramic sculpture depicts a muscular young man embracing an exaggerated grape cluster. "Drunken Young Man", by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Gröndahl in Copenhagen. This sculpture was one of a series known as "Vinhosten" issued in 1912. Absolutely stunning and in mint condition. It measures 4½" (10.5cm). On the underside is incised KAI NIELSEN, 12, impressed is KOBENHAVN, B & G, the insignia of three houses. Impressed is 4024, 51C. Painted in black is Ø.775.

This is a real sweet antique miniature cold painted bronze African American boy and girl group reading the newspaper with a Holland headline. It is circa 1890. The boy and girl are dressed in Dutch costume. It measures 1" tall x 5/8" wide.

This is a rarely found object as part of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Argenta series produced for Gustavsberg. It measures 1 5/8" tall and is 1 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is painted in silver Argenta, the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Gustavsberg, 958. Impressed is the letter S. Excellent condition. There is crazing, which is normal for the glaze.

This footed bowl is from Gunnar Nylund's early years with Bing and Gröndahl. It was created between 1926 and 1928. It measures 4¼" (11cm) high and is 4½" (11.5cm) in diameter. The bowl is on four feet. The glaze is extraordinary and designed to resemble flames surrounding a cauldron. Mint condition. SHIPPING INCLUDED WITHIN US.
