This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the late 1950s. It has the name of the artist, F. Heidenreich, impressed in the base. The group measures 5 1/2 inches high, 7 1/2 inches long and 6 inches deep. It is a depiction of a pair of frisky Borzoi dogs. The dogs are modeled delicately, with fine detail. Their faces are beautiful. There are many slender limbs, so it must have been difficult to keep the porcelain from failing as it was being made...

A fine example of Dino Martens' masterful use of the mezza filigrana technique on a modern interpretation of the platter form. The platter has a skillfully applied ring foot and remnants of its label. The piece is in excellent condition and is 11.25"x 3.5"h.

Sculpted mid century bowl in sommerso with murrines, cane, and gold foil. The sommerso transition from the plum colored rim to the lattimo exterior allows considerable visual depth to the murrine arrangement. Exquisite Barovier bowl and pestle set profusely filled with an aventurine gold spiral pattern on the interior with an exterior thread of blue/green lattimo. The rim of the bowl has a scissor cut which lends a dramatic modern aesthetic to the form. It is unusual to find these sets together. This one is a beauty! It is 7"x2"h, in excellent condition, unmarked, but clearly Barovier.

This porcelain and metal dresser box was produced in France by Tharaud Limoges before 1930. It has a double mark which signifies that the porcelain and the decoration were done in the factory. The box has a gilded metal frame and foot. We don't know what the metal is. It measures 5 1/4 inches across and 3 1/2 inches high. This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1930. It has a diameter of 8 inches and a height of 3 1/4 inches. The fine hard paste porcelain is reticulated in a snowflake type pattern. The bowl features three dolphin shaped feet. The center of the bowl is hand painted with brightly colored fruit done in a realistic manner. A pretty Art Deco cut glass perfume bottle with an intaglio stopper. The periwinkle blue body is cut in a diamond pattern, while the flat round stopper has lapidary cut edges and an intaglio four-leaf clover. The overall effect is very sweet. The flat base is acid-etched “Made in Czechoslovakia” inside an elongated oval.
