A wonderful set of 16 tiles illustrating scenes from the story of Don Quixote. The tiles have incised lines separating the colored glazes. Each tile has a rich blue border.

Origin: Spain, circa 1900. Condition: most have small nicks along the edges; two have larger flakes on the edges or corners; no cracks. Size: 2-5/8" x 2-5/8" x 9/16".

This dynamic bear by Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen has an incredible glaze. It measures 3 1/2" (8.25cm) tall and is 5" (13cm) in length. Mint condition. On the underside is painted three wavy lines and the artist's initials KK.

DESCRIPTION: A lovely set of five red clay Mexican earthenware nesting bowls, dating from the 1950's. The bowls are decorated in fluid strokes of blue between blue line borders on a white/cream ground. The interiors have a line of blue around the inner circumference with dollops of green glaze. This porcelain charger was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It has a diameter of 10 inches and is 1 3/4 inches deep. The porcelain is the highest quality, with a shiny, even glaze. It is decorated with Chinese style ornaments. There are fighting roosters in the center, dragons and Chinese ornaments, all hand painted and gilded. There is heavy gold trim on the rim. Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality charger.

This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1940s. It measures 9 inches long and 5 1/4 inches high. It has an inscribed artist's name, K. Tutter, in the base.
