Pair English Porcelain Plates, early 1900's, 9" diameter, Pink and Red Peony Flowering trees in the rock garden in the center, transfer design with raised enamel painted over the glaze in some areas, and cobalt blue color of leaves finished with gold lines over the glaze. They will make a very nice display cabinet plates. Impressed mark on the bottom but could not read clearly. The condition is good, no damages.

Teapot, milk jug, cup and saucer, a solitaire service made by the Carl Knoll factory in Czech Carlsbad / Karlovy Vary. Cross-striped like the Victorian bathing-suits – just a coincidence or might there be a thought behind this design? Carlsbad was a fashionable 19th century spa, famous for its hot springs. Impressed mark for 1848 – 1868. Height of teapot "4 ½ / 11 cm including handle, diameter of saucer "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a nick to the cup (cf. pics).

A finely sculpted bust of a young man with exceptional patina of finely blended earth and bronze pigments. Physical condition is superb, but a small amount of finish has worn around the left eye and on the top of the head exposing a green substrate, yet harmonious with the earthen finish. This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1940s. It has an inscribed artist's signature, C. Werner, in the base. The figurine measures 11 1/4 inches high and 9 1/4 wide. It is beautifully modeled with fine details. The young, beautiful mother is assisting her infant to take his first steps. It has a classical elegance and yet a modern 1940s stylized look. The figures are realistically hand painted. Condition: Excellent.

Tall Czech Amphora art deco 2 handled pottery vase featuring enameled ostriches and palm trees set against a textured matte ground. The backside had a very art deco design, perhaps a stylized flower? In excellent, it measures 16 inches high. More photos available upon request.

DESCRIPTION: A lovely set of five red clay Mexican earthenware nesting bowls, dating from the 1950's. The bowls are decorated in fluid strokes of blue between blue line borders on a white/cream ground. The interiors have a line of blue around the inner circumference with dollops of green glaze. Very good condition, no chips, original imperfections that add to the charm. DIMENSIONS: Largest bowl: 10.25 diameter x 4.75” high. Smallest bowl: 5.5” diameter x 2” high.

These "Liberty Blue" dinner plates are 9 7/8" in diameter. They have a blue and white floral rim with a scene of Independence Hall in the center. They are in excellent condition.
