Fine Large Glazed Stoneware Jar - Malcolm Pepper
This impressive stoneware jar was made by Malcolm Pepper (1937 - 1980) during the 1970s. It is "heavily-potted" and very attractively decorated as our detailed images show; no further description is needed!
Height 24 cm (9.5 inches), diameter 31 cm (12.25 inches). It is in perfect condition.

An early Troika vase or marmalade pot, ca 1970. Of square shape, relief decorated, the matted glaze in purple, black and orange, the inside white glazed. Troika was a group of three art potters, based in St Ives. Troika pieces were sold through Liberty of London. Pretty set of eight bone china coasters by Royal Worcester. Each has a hand painted transfer-printed floral bouquet design. The outer edges are ridged and the rims are gilt. In addition to their original purpose, the coasters could also be used for nut dishes or even butter pats.
Origin: England, ca. 1970. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 3-9/16" diameter.

English Aynsley Bone China "Pembroke" pattern Tea server with separate sugar and creamer inside divided area, also can be used just server with different dips in the separate small area without sugar and creamer dish, and crackers in the center, 10" 1/2 x 11 1/2" wide, 4 1/2" high include handle on top, total 3 pieces in one set. The condition is good, no damages.
LIBERTY BLUE by STAFFORDSHIRE was made circa 1975 - 1981.
The teapot has the usual crazing and one chip on the underside of the lid. Pictures 3 & 4 try to show the underside lip and the view from the top to give you a better view of the actual damage.
Standing on sweeping foot, the blue bowl is decorated in the round with classical figural and objective motifs. Excellent condition save for a couple of stains in the bowl.

These four Minton Gold Ancestral dessert plates (#S 595) are quite handsome indeed. Each are marked on the back and also each has the Minton imprint. The brown-red transfer decoration of flowers and leaves is painted with turquoise and pink enamel to accent the flowers. Each plate is trimmed in gold and is in excellent condition. Measures 7 7/8" across the scalloped rim. Production dates: 1944-1976. Book price $45.00 a plate.
A creamware dinner plate with shaped edge, elaborate painted lattice border on the rim and good “Chinese scene” decoration to the body of the plate. Though it is unmarked it is almost certainly English from the late18th century. The color is deep cobalt blue and the execution very good. 10 inch (25.5 cm) diameter.
Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Looks almost new with very little wear.
