A fun Arts and Crafts Period round brass and copper covered box. A prominent cherry blossom decoration adorns the top - outlined by the studded brass cover with etched decoration - explosing a hand hammered copper surface. Etched vine decoration also around the side with copper banding and studs. Not sure if this is Western or Japanese production - the Arts and Crafts Period starting and extending later in Japan...

WMF Ikora patinated metal dish or bowl, Germany c 1930. The surface iridescent in yellow-green and black, in the center a stylized ribbon or flower or an abstract Art Déco motif. Small paper label to the back D11 and the impressed Ikora and WMF factory mark for the German Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. Diameter "10 / 25 cm. Condition: a wire for hanging fixed by soldering.

Here is a delightful pair of giraffes designed by Gunnar Cyren for Dansk. They measure 4" tall. Excellent condition.

This wonderful pair of sterling silver triple candle holder was made in Germany circa 1920. The elegant fluted design decorated candle holders are 10 ¼” high, 11” wide at the widest part and the base is 5 3/8” wide at the widest part. The hallmarks are the crown and half moon, 925 STERLING, and a bear. The candle holders are hollow (not filled with cement) in the bottom there are some weights for stability, but those can be removed by unscrewing the bottom cover...

A rare Art Deco mechanical "Trap Jigger" in chrome with red bakelite accents made by Fay. When the arms of the filled jigger are rested on the rim of a glass or jigger a plunger inside is forced up to allow the liquid to pour out the bottom.

A very scarce Watson and Newell demitasse spoon of an African American child eating watermelon. The spoon has “Shreveport, LA” engraved in the bowl. The back is marked “Sterling” and has the Watson & Newell logo. The spoon is shown as item 562-4 on the Watson and Newell 1900-1910 catalog page illustrating “Souvenirs for the South.”

European silver and enamel cigarette case, ca 1920. Rectangular, chamfered, and hinged. On cover a horse’s head appears in an entryway, with two protective borzoi dogs standing guard. Stable drama against a semi-abstract background of brick and stone, and purpling ground. Marks worn. Very good condition with strong color.

A large well rendered bronze rhinosaurus of an African white rhino. This realistic rhino has heavily textured skin, wrinkles and folds at its neck and legs, and its tail is contoured around the back leg. In excellent condition, it measures 18.5" long, 8.25" high, 6.25" wide.

Rare sterling silver baby rattle featuring an etched inscription, depicting birth date, a clock motif signifying birth time, and birth weight. Hard-to-find with a clock, this is terrific piece for the collector. Dates 1940 or earlier. In good condition with some light wear to the sterling finish, it measures 3.5" long and 1.25" diameter. Sensitive and endearing 800 silver animal figure. Made by Buccellati in Italy. A chimp with raised arm, big funny ears, and expressive face sits on amethyst crystal base with joined feet. A playful primate with tensile hands and feet, and shaggy wire fur. Marked “Buccellati Italy 800”. Excellent condition with deep patina.
