Being offered is a circa 1950 sterling silver centerpiece bowl by Sanborns, of Mexico City, Mexico, entirely handwrought lobed bowl with embossed Aztec rose motifs; stylized handles; resting on a pedestal base. Dimensions: 12 1/2 inches x 8 inches x 3 inches. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Great weight 30 ozs.

Pretty sterling silver sardine fork in Manchester's 1951 "Amaryllis" pattern. The design is somewhat similar to Chantilly, and has a very Victorian feel. The fork could be used for sardines, as well as for a variety of hors d'oeuvres. The back of the handle is stamped with Manchester's hallmark.

All awarded in 1950s for a comet class boat, which was a snug 2-crew vessel developed in Maryland in the 1930s. One has the boat name, the Eisenhower-era cozy domestic-sounding “We Two”.
