Being offered is a superb circa 1945 sterling silver pitcher by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico; handwrought bulbous form originally, specifically designed as a sangria pitcher with three applied floral motifs on the body; flared neck; ribbon handle with ruffle decoration, but of course pitcher can be used for water, iced tea etc. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches diameter. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Weight is a hefty 38 ozs.

Handwrought bowl featuring three incised silver tabs with bezel set amethyst cabochons. Two sets of English Art Deco sterling silver cocktail picks, the finials in the form of brightly enameled roosters. Each pick has unusual double tines that firmly hold olives, cherries, etc., and a hook on the back side that can rest on the edge of tall glass to keep them from sinking to the bottom. Very nice sterling silver Colonial-style porringer by Alvin Silver Co. Sterling porringers are a traditional gift for newborns, serving as a feeding dish. They are also suitable for mint/nut dishes or wine bottle coasters. The bottom is marked "Lullaby Sterling" which is a division of Alvin.
