George VI sterling silver salver. Made by Walker & Hall in Sheffield in 1940. Round well with traditional molded curvilinear piecrust rim. Three volute-scroll supports. Fully marked. Very good condition with nice finish.

Description: Very well crafted hand made southeast Indian vessel, the whole body is decorated with pierced foliage design with beautiful rosebuds in high relief. It bears silver and 925 mark on the base. Has a height of 4 inches and the diameter is 6 inches. Excellent condition.

A delightful second standard (800/1000 pure silver) French tastevin featuring a mermaid. Extremely fine triple cased sommerso decanter attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1950s. With a cranberry colored glass core cased inside a layer of vivid blue, cased again inside lavender. The effect of the three layers of colored glass is stupendous. This lovely decanter has a slightly flattened form and stands over 16.25" tall to the top of the stopper. In excellent condition.

Magnificent 5 inch tall sterling silver salt & pepper shakers or casters designed and signed by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pair weigh 242 grams or 8 1/2oz. Each is accented with applied silver bands along with a ball and bead atop the dome shape. Each hallmarked on the underside. This design is one of Spratling's last coming from the mid 1960's. Beautiful condition with no dents or dings. Cork bottom stoppers in fine working order...

Nice large centerpiece bowl with the starry nights design in lattimo glass, with the design expressed using aventurine on a crystal case over latimo glass. The starry nights design is well documented as Fratelli Toso. The bowl is nicely sculpted into a gondola form and the four feet are sculpted from the generous case of crystal on the exterior. This fine piece is in perfect condition, measures 16"w x8"d x7"h, and bears a portion of its Nora Fenton import label.
