Cranberry 7.25" Syrup from the Victorian era. I can't tell you much about this other than it is old, probably from pre-1920's. It has a brass top and ground bottom.
This beautiful comport was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. Approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter, 3 inches high. Color is yellow ceramic wash over crystal. Perfect condition. See my other listings for a matching comport in green and another in purple.

A fun Arts and Crafts Period round brass and copper covered box. A prominent cherry blossom decoration adorns the top - outlined by the studded brass cover with etched decoration - explosing a hand hammered copper surface. Etched vine decoration also around the side with copper banding and studs. Not sure if this is Western or Japanese production - the Arts and Crafts Period starting and extending later in Japan...
A Pair of Fine Tall Glass Hexagonal Candlesticks, with Twist Standards and Urn Nozzles. Dimensions; 9" high x 5" at base, weight 2.5 pounds. There is a small bubble in one(see picture) but otherwise in excellent condition. From the 1930's.

A Siam style budha cast bronze head made at Bien Hoa professional School in Vietnam circa 1930. Nice reproduction and beautiful patina. The Bien Hoa school was created in 1906 by French administrators who, seeing Vietnamese art and culture disappear during colonization, wanted to safeguard this important Vietnamese artistic heritage. The school was therefore created, it housed hundreds of Annamese students who became sculptors, painters, ceramists, cabinetmakers etc.....

Set of 4, Tiffany Studios gilt bronze Venetian pattern desk blotter corners. All marked: Tiffany Studios, New York, 1894. Outer edges measure 4.75 each and depth measure 2.5". Height is minimal.

A splendid ruby cut to clear glass crystal compote on a scalloped foot rising along a faceted shaped stem with terraced capital supporting a gorgeous rich ruby red cut bowl. The compote has excellent weight - you know you are getting a quality piece of crystal when you feel it in your hand. While it is unmarked, it bears considerable likeness to Val St Lambert, much of whose production was unmarked...
A fascinating manipulation of fired on patination to the copper or bronze, shouldered vase. A rich, earthy copper red fired on patina is on the interior and on the exterior serving as background to irregular streams, inlets and pools of dappled verdigris among, and picked out by, (seemingly) flames of speckled gold fading into the background color. We included one picture with filtered sunlight to better pick out the colors...
Opaline glass and wooden framed box with geometric decoration in suprematist style, inspired by the De Stijl school and the porcelain created in Russia by Nikolai Suetin with its roots in the art of Kasimir Malevich. Late 1920’s, Dutch or Belgian, unmarked. Width including the wooden base "6 ¼ / 16 cm, height "2 1/2 / 6.3 cm. Condition: wear to the decoration (cf. pics).
Pair of finely detailed and colored, heavy, original painted cast iron bookends. They feature a log cabin with a red roof, surrounded by a forest of tall trees and shrubs beneath a full moon in a midnight blue sky. The casting is high quality with the trees and cabin in relief. The colors are original in red, green, blue, gold, brown, and white. Each bookend stands 6 1/4" (15.9 cm) tall, 4 1/2" (11.4 cm) wide, 2" (5 cm) deep and weighs 2 lbs. 4 oz. (4 lbs. 8 oz. for the pair)...
A nice pair of vintage c1900-20 copper patinated cast iron bookends in the form of Indian elephants. Measuring 5" long and standing 4" tall, these unsigned library or shelf decorations are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some slight surface rusting on the base of one and some minor casting flaws on the other (each has a few small paint flecks)...
