Antique Korean bandaji (blanket storage chest), made of beautiful thick elm wood with dove tail joinery, brass hardware including double happiness symbols, fish, and cranes, (c. 1910). Size: 38 3/4" high x 42 1/4" wide x 23" deep.

A fine Japanese porcelain small tray-form dish with an upturned vertical rim decorated in the centre with a lake, waterfall and pavilion. The base with a fuki chosun mark. A solitary figure paddles past. Circa 1750 ~ 1780.

Approximately 10.5 cm diameter. Perfect condition.

This is one of the earliest and rarest original types of vases made in Vietnam. It has a rich chocolate brown glaze with beautiful drippings going down to the base. This style of jar has been copied in later times in China and Southeast Asia. Size: H. 64.8cm W. 40cm. Condition: Perfect. No repairs.

A lidded container in a divided, compressed form of finely, carved bamboo root. Good luck bringing Bats (bianfu) carved in relief decorate the sides and lid. Bottom with a la grec pattern. Mid Qing, around 1800. H 10 cm, W 8.2 cm. Condition: Very good. Traces of wear. One short crack on the middle part of the bottom panel filled.

Ewer from Yuan Dynasty covered with qingbai glaze. Unglaze base. Size : Height = 7 cm , wide = 12 cm Period : Yuan Dynasty 1279 - 1368 Condition : firing fault on the body, no chips or hairlines and free from restorations.

English King sterling silver wine bottle coaster. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round well with chased wavy borders. Applied bead-and-reel rim interspersed with scallop shells. Interlaced script monogram engraved in well. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11161 and director’s letter C (1902-7). Very good condition.

The body of this antique Miao Chinese powder horn is carved with large spider web, small foo dogs, and clouds. The stopper is carved into a lotus blossom. The Miao believe that passed relatives take the form of spiders to visit and watch family members, so spider webs are left undisturbed in the home. This horn is from Kali area and is in excellent condition. It is 80-90 years old and approx 9" long.

Gourd shaped pouch with brick stitch embroidery of auspicious signs and characters. Chinese c 1900, the inside with a paper label saying (No)7 China. Height "7/ 18.5 cm. Condition: fine, apparently never used.

Hardware is made of brass and includes a chased brass square lock plate with double happiness characters. Doors open to reveal a large compartment for storage. The lower portion of the chest has two medium sized drawers with a locking bar on the left hand side, a safe box on the right. Chinese Kangxi Period hexagonal vase/Tea Caddy with marked Dutch silver added in the early 19th century; some wear; circa 18th century

A rare Qing 18th century blanc de chine dehua figure of seated Bodhidharma Luohan Damo, figure in seated position with robe covered body, good condition no damage no chip no crack no restoration, size: 16 cm height.

Late 18th to early 19th century glass ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) in seed shape with multicolored spiral lines around the body. Beautifully made, wonderful feel of age, very pleasant patina. Diameter 0.75 Inches.

19th century Japanese small lacquered wood netsuke representing a theatrical mask of Shikami - a demon whose overriding purpose is to do evil to man. Crisp detailing, nicely lacquered, great patina. some wear to the surface. Signed RYUUN on the back bar - the artist is listed in NETSUKE MASKS by Raymond Bushell, p. 175, signatures 241-243. Height 1.18 inches.
