A Wonderful George III Silver Swing-handled Basket (cake basket, bride's basket) made by Robert Hennell and Hallmarked in London in 1792. Open Work Design on Both the Rim and the Base, with Bright Cut Design on the Rim. Ribbed Handle. Dimensions; 14.5" wide x 10.5" deep x 4" high (10" to handle); weight 31 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Six matching antique Imari plates with the classic black ship design showing Dutch ships and sailors. The plates measure about 1 1/4" high x 9 3/4" in diameter, and date to the end of the Meiji period. They are all in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. One dish has a small kiln flaw on it's foot rim. A complete range of Imari colors has been used in the elaborate design work. On the underside each dish is marked in gold with the character for longevity...

18th Century Chinese Bronze Censer Incense Burner Xuande Marked
It is 2.7 inches (7.3 cm) tall by 7.2 inches (18.4 cm) wide. It is 1729 gram.
It has oxidation and rubbing of patina, a small chip at the bottom, cut marks, surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

A large porcelain Jubaku consisting of four tiered containers with cover decorated with a karakusa ground in yellow and green enamels inset with auspicious figures of Chinese boys, karako, and reserves containing Peonies and rocks, traditional symbols of the arrival of Spring. These jubako was used specifically during the New Year festival.
The containers measure approximately 25cm high and 18.5cm in diameter and weighs 2.810kg in total weight.

Buddha in gilded lacquered wood. In the middle of the forehead is inlaid in mother-of-pearl the eye of the spirit. Le buddha is placed on a lotus-shaped plinth and leans against a glory sculpted with volutes. The base and the glory are from the Edo period.The Buddha is probably older, it is constructed differently,having a thick solid layer of reddish-brown lacquer visible where the worn gold powder has gone and is much more worn.The face and torso are atypical of those of the Edo period...
Antique Japanese single section todana tansu made of sugi (cryptomeria) wood. This todana is divided into two large upper and lower compartments, each with two sliding door panels. Each panel in reinforced with horizontal wooden slats. Natural wood finish.

Pair of bronze Song Dynasty coins with Chinese descriptive note
A beautiful early 17th century silk floss textile embroidered with a variety of flowers in a panoply of colors. The central section has larger and more elaborate examples, while the borders have smaller meandering flora. Most probably of Italian origin.
The condition is quite fine, and the dimensions are 67" by 16". This wonderful piece has been part of my collection for 25 years and has not been previously shown or offered.
