LIAO Dynasty Terracotta Buddhist Votive tsa tsa Plaque/Amulet, China AD. 907 - 1125, with very fine details. Nicely mounted on a wooden base. Originates from a group of varied tablet sizes that were excavated, most likely from the foundations of an ancient Buddhist temple, placed there to ensure success and prosperity. Condition good, inconsequential chip/hairline, no restorations. Size: 2.75" (7 cm.)
Circa 1870, brown transferware platter, Staffordshire Nanking pattern, by E. Challinor. In very good condition, there is some crazing commensurate with age and some staining, most notably on the back. Measures about 18 inches long, 14" high, and 1.5" deep. Hanger included.

Chinese Famille Jaune Ginger Jar, 8 1/4" high, 8 1/2"-widest area, 3 3/4" diameter-top rim, 7" diameter-bottom rim, made during late 1800's to early part of 1900's, thick overglaze Polychrome design on the entire body with Peony flowers and vines with Chinese Character in four(4) circle windows. Star crack on the bottom which stained over the years and scratch on the glaze on the raised decorated surface.

Chinese White Jade Carving Pendant & Ring Silver Necklace,19th Century
It is 18.5 inches (47 cm) in circumference. The pendant is 2 inches (5.1 cm) long by 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide and 5.5 mm thick. The ring is 16 mm- 18.2 mm diameter by 3.6 mm - 6.2 mm wide. The total weight is 104.5 gram.
It has flea bite chips and inclusions at the jade, and tarnished at the metal ring and clip (as seen in the photos).

This crystal glass was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. We are not certain of the manufacturer but it is in the style of Lobmyer and Moser. The glass is 5 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown. It is decorated with brightly colored enamels. An antique Japanese small Choba Tansu chest made of Kirinoki (Paulownia) wood. Original bronze hardware. Sliding doors where merchant stored business records and books 4 drawers below where valuables money and writing supplies were kept. Straight dovetail joinery and hardened wooden nail construction. Very rare lacquer box with geometrical pattern and convex shaped lid and bottom. The lacquer is quite thick on this piece with an unusual motif. I have only seen two boxes in this style which came out of Yunnan, China, so these may have been made as trade items to Yi minority who seem to make similar, though less sophisticated, patterned lacquer pieces. This is an extroadinarily rare Aztec ceramic pipe. There are only 3 others of this earliest type known to exist. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin on 12/2/60 in Cuautitlan, Mexico. The end of the stem has been broken off and appears to have been glued back on. This is not the prettiest of the 4 pipes I have listed, but it is the oldest likened unto Paleo vs. Archaic. I have what I believe to be the largest and finest collection of Aztec pipes in private hands.

A brass wash pan that was used for personal grooming during the late Joseon Dynasty. The bowl has been formed by the process known as wrought, where the metal is worked into shape by beating it with a hammer. The hammering marks on this pan are clearly visible. The pan measures 4 3/4" high x 16 3/4" in diameter, and dates to the early 20th Century. It is good example of folk ware and metal art.
