Balmy autumn day. Three men enjoy drinking on the boat under the autumn moon light. Painted with ink and light pigments on silk. Signed Shoko, the artist name of Tanomura Chokunyu, and sealed. It is dated on 1838. It is attributed to Tanomura Chokunyu(1814-1907).

Tanomura Chokunyu (1814-1907) was a Japanese nanga(literati) artist. He learnt painting under Tanomura Chikuden, and for his rare talent, he was later adapted as a son...

Antique Chinese porcelain plate with blue and white glaze design of a water dragon. Surrounded by clouds, the dragon holds a large pearl. The rim of the plate is decorated with waves. The back of the plate has a four character Chenhua mark 1464-1487. Old repairs.

This jade carving depicts two dragons, seated back to back and is, as best I can tell, the real deal. Not only are there no signs whatsoever of modern tooling, but each of the holes at the snout has been drilled from both sides, using a conical bit. The jade itself does not lie 100% flat, which would be another "telltale" of modern production. Instead, it is slightly curved...

This set of 6 porcelain soup cups and saucers was produced in the US by Willets Belleek between 1885 and 1909. The porcelain and the decoration originated from the factory. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high and 5 inches across the handles. The porcelain is egg-shell thin with a molded pattern similar to ones you might find on Irish Belleek porcelain. Sweet pink roses encircle the borders inside the cup, outside the cup and around the saucer...

A beautiful art glass vase with an applied salamander and lava flow from the rim, made by Moser around 1885. The vase is decorated with typical art nouveau motif. Made on ribbed-glass blank, the vase has a polished pontil. The vase is approximately 10 inches (25,5 cm) tall and 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide at its widest. Except for a small chip on one of the lava-contours and some roughness next to it, the vase is in fine condition. Though unsigned, it is guaranteed to have been made by Moser...

A fine shoe-shaped - katsugata tea bowl of black Oribe (oribe-kuro chawan), the coarse Mino clay is covered with a thick black glaze, on one side a cartouches featuring irregular strips patterns in iron-brown glaze on creamy ground. 1900's Chinese Lavender Amethyst Crystal Carved Peach Pendant with Seed Pearl

The overall is 3.5 inches (9 cm) long by 1.3 inches (3.4 cm) wide. The pendant is 1.6 inches (4 cm) long by 1.3 inches (3.4 cm) wide. the jadeite bead is 9.1 mm. It is 29.4 gram.

It has loose thread at the pearl bead, chips at the stalk of the pendant, inclusions, surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).
