Made of a rare red or natural Cherry Amber, which is thought to be another form of Jet. The bottle is well-hollowed, with very thin walls, thus, very light in weight. Very large Burmese hammered repousse
copper-brass-bronze alloy bowl with traces of silver, decorated with 8 relief panels of Elephants, a Buddhist Lion and several other animals as well as stylized foliage. Such bowls were primarily used in ceremonies. 19th Century. Good condition.

Chinese Export Blue and White covered deep serving Tureen or Dish, Ca. 1800-1820, 5 1/2" high, 9 1/4" x 8 1/4" wide, with cut corner shape and Pine Cone Knob on top, very nice soft underglaze blue with sampan floating in the lake, pavilion and pagoda under willow tree next to bridge. Underglaze blue is just right for the type of Canton ware for early period. The condition is good.

Delightful Qing Dynasty café au lait glazed water dropper in the shape of a fish in a basket, it is quite heavy for its size and the brown glaze has a strong metallic patina possibly emulating bronze. Most likely from a Southern Kiln, in perfect condition! D: 5.7cm/2.2in and H: 7.2cm/2.8in.

The deep bowl of cylindrical form sharply angled towards the base and set on a raised
ring foot, decorated with white slip rain-spot inlaid on the exterior between double rings,
In the interior, a ring medallion surrounded by a white slip inlaid Ruyi pattern band ring,
foot rim unglazed and the base glazed with a grey celadon.
It’s in fine condition but a tiny chip repaired. Measurements; 8.5cm x 3.8cm h.

This is a fabulous bronze axe from ancient China. Socketed axes of thus type were typical to the Northern tribes in Shang and Early Zhou periods (circa 1100 BC). This particular type is quite rare and rarely seen in private collections.
