Japanese keyaki and persimmon wood choba tansu, beautiful keyaki grain on front with a frame that is edged in persimmon wood, there is a compartment with sliding panels made of solid burl wood with a stepped shelf on the interior, the safe box has a key and two small interior drawers also with keyaki wood fronts, inside the safe box is a very hidden secret compartment (detail shows writing on hidden panel door). Meiji Period.

Rare Japanese keyaki wood choba tansu with 15 exterior drawers (3 interior drawers) and a locking bar, keyaki (elm) wood front and frame with dramatic grain and lacquer finish, elaborate iron metal wood including moko shaped drawer pulls, locking bar has iron work with bamboo motif, the safe box has a key and the three small drawers on the inside are made all of kiri wood with handles to match the front exterior, Edo Period, Makuni area.

This G-10+ Columbia River Eastgate Gem Point is undeniably one of the best ever found. It was found in Sherman County, Oregon. It is made out of translucent honey colored agatized petrified brunt palm wood which is heavily patinated. It is 1 3/4" long. There isn't a ding, flea bite or mistake made anywhere including the tip. There are no stacks or curves. The left side mirrors the right. You cannot tell the difference between side A and side B. This is true art and balanced perfection...
A good pair of dragon menuki in nicely detailed patinated shakudo alloy and with gilt features. Late Edo period. Good condition but with glue adhering mostly to the back. Each little more than 1 5/8 inches (4.13 cm) long.
This is a beautiful wire and wireless Japanese cloisonne vase. Though it is not signed, it was made by Gonda Hirosuke during the Meiji Era, circa 1910. Other identical pieces exist that are signed Gonda.
Very few of these wireless fish vases were made by Gonda. The vase is in excellent condition and has silver rims. It was created before Japan began stamping rims with the "jun gin' silver mark in the early 1900's. It stands 7 inches tall and is 7 inches wide.

Toujin-bue (Chinese flute) flat shaped tea bowl made of coarse, unfined clay with a high content of iron oxide. The body shows the tracks of the fingers when it was thrown on the Korean kick-wheel. The rim is a little uneven (intentionally). The unglazed foot ring was executed in the Korean bamboo node style...
Diameter approximately 31 cm. Little bit repaired at the rim. Soft green glazed. In good condition.
Up for sale is an antique Chinese silk civil rank badge, late1800's, executed in KESI /Kossu weaving, with a mandarin duck, bats, peonies, seawaves, sun disc, cloud patterns, buddhist / Taolist auspicious symbols against a brown silk ground; was meat to be worn on the back of a Mandarin official's surcoat; Backed with light blue silk lining.

Overall, it is in very good condition, vibrant silk colors, no tear or wear...
Up for sale is a rare antique Chinese rank badge taken from an imperial family member's summer surcoat, 19th century Qing dynasty embroidered with a 5-claw dragon, clouds, bats,seawaves, buddhist auspicious symbols against a black silk gauze; very intricate embroideries !
Antique Japanese Kyo-yaki, low-fired raku ceramic kogo ( an incense container used in tea ceremonies) in the form of an adorable fat bunny with shallow eyes and long ears with pink enamel and a creamy tan crackle glaze all over its body. Chop impressed on bottom is illegible.

A definitely extremely rare Yuan Dynasty ( 1279 - 1368 ) covered porcelain box with underglaze Cobalt blue floral decoration. The cover decorated with a human figure sitting in a landscape on a rock.
Diameter : 5,5 cm.
Condition : One small filled chip to the cover ( which is to see on the last enlargement ) further in perfect condition, no re-paint.
