A blown moulded Art Nouveau green Loetz glass vase with 'Cherry Sprig' pewter mounts, probably designed by Frederich Adler, and made by Orion Pewter, Nuremberg, Germany circa 1905. A similar vase is illustrated in "20th Century Pewter" by Paul Carter Robinson (2012) ISBN 978 1 85149 6150. Condition: there are some very small surface nicks to the glass and slight bumps to the pewter; no cracks, losses or repairs. 10cm (4 inches) high; 11cm (4.3inches) across.

Antique Japanese gumbai, war fan. It was sued mainly as a signaling device during war. Today, they are most often seen in use by sumo referees. It measures 21.5" long 11" wide. Meiji 1868-1912. Inscribed with the Hachimandaibosatsu, in the same style of calligraphy as the Tsuruoka shrine in Kamakura. It may have been as shrine offering or a decoration in the shrine. Made of white bronze with a pewter or silver handle.

Antique Japanese bronze Bishamonten or guardian. Taisho period, 1912-1926. The Bishamonten is the protector of Buddhism, distributor of treasures and wealth and protector of warriors. He is the Shitenno guardian of the north, of riches and scourger of evil doers, and healer of illness. The Shitenno are the four heavenly guardians that protect the Buddha and his attendants. There is a seal on the base reading Nobu. It measures 38" tall.

A nice quality early Eighteenth century Japanese Imari export bowl decorated in underglaze blue, kinsai gilding and iron red. The exterior of the bowl painted with overlapping symmetrically arranged trefoil and peach shaped reserves, each containing a delicately painted kacho-ga motif of shiragiku, white asters, and pheasants and chrysanthemums, kiku ni kiji, traditional autumnal motifs...

Antique Japanese ranma with wonderful large scale hawk sitting in pine tree, beautifully carved on both sides, carved of keyaki (elm) wood, Meiji Period. Size: 59 1/2" x 16 1/4" high x 2" deep.

Perfectly potted porcelain body. A very decorative Guan type glaze. Eighteenth century, most probably Yongzheng period. A very impressing and important piece. H : 27,4 cm. Condition : Perfect

Description: This is a vey finely potted yingqing or qingbai meiping from the Song dynasty. The body is incised with a beautifully free hand drawing of lotus flower with scrolling foliages.

Dimension: The height is 17cm and the dimeter at the widest part of the body is 11cm.

Condition: In good condition with no repair, restoration, chip or crack. Minor abrasion, especially at the mouth (picture 5)and very minor abrasion on the body.

Antique Japanese two panel screen inlaid on both sides with mother of pearl and bone. The front has two beautiful scenes of birds and butterflies perched on flowering wisteria branches. The lower register has a phoenix and a dragon. The back side has scenes of butterflies flittering about. The lower region has panels of crashing waves.Meiji period, 1868-1912. A large standing esoteric protector deity known as Gozanze Myoo. The piece has darkened from the smoke of the goma offerings done for the image. The statue is posed doing the Gozanze mudra, which is the mudra of subjugation. Gozanze Myoo's name literally means the vanquisher of the three realms, where this myoo destroys foolishness and anger.
