The raised head is modeled in great detail, mane and paws show the skilful use of modeling tool.
Fully hand modeled terracotta, part of a larger group, possibly with an additional figure mounted on the animal’s back. The surface with remains of an applied white wash.

12 German Rosenthal Porcelain Dinner Plates, beautiful rich bright Powder Blue and encrusted raised Gold border, ca. 1908 - 1920, 10 3/4" diameter, almost 11" wide, with encrusted raised gold border rim. mark with encrusted gold "Rosenthal, Selb-Bavaria" within the "Crown" design inside shaped background area, numbered in gold "5400, 103", rim of the bottom also gilded. The condition is good.
This is a japanese antique silk Nishijin textile small case from the Edo period.
The dragon and cloud motifs are expressed with gorgeous weaves.
There are light stains, but they are not noticeable. There is slight wear on the corners.
But it's in good shape overall.
