This is an extremely rare, unique IMPORTANT Olmec quartz engraved plaque. I have only seen a handful of authentic Olmec quartz pieces in my 40 years of collecting. I have two others listed on this site. I have never seen another Olmec quartz plaque. This piece is highly transparent, water clear and dates 1200-600BC. It is made from a large rare thin 'Tabby' crystal with notches on the side. It is 3.75 inches square by 1/8"...
This is a Japanese antique Boro shibori and katazome hanjyuban jacket textile Edo period (1800-1867).
The sleeve part natural Indigo dye cotton katazome.
The body and back are silk safflower dyed shibori(Tie-dyeing) .
The collar and lining are cotton. The fabric on the collar is a very nice Edo period cotton.

Offering this small unusual 18th century English wine glass with a trumpet bowl on opaque color twist stem with two spiral threads, red and white, over a vertical gauze. In excellent original condition, no chips, no cracks, etc., it measures 4.25 inches high, base and rim 2" diameter. Circa 1760. More photos and information upon request.

The rare original Niello watch chain that you have been searching for. Fifty Six inches long, our chain has niello patterned fetter links and alternating triple gold links. The fetter link has a wonderful striped pattern wrapped around a gold link, the ends of which link to the triple gold links. An unusual construction, indeed.
Niello refers to the ancient technique of decorating silver which was revived in the 19th century and adopted by English jewelry artisans...
A fine cut crystal decanter with faceted stopper, early 20th century American Brilliant Period. The slightly rounded shape is comprised of finely cut squares with patterned centers, hand blown faceted stopper. Size: 8" H x 3.75" W. Condition: Decanter is clean and sparkling with age appropriate wear. No interior cloudiness, minor flaking and chip to face of one square. A nice addition to any collection or a stand out on its' own.
Finely carved Japanese, 19th century, netsuke depicting Daikoku, one of the seven Gods of Fortune, the god of wealth, shown as an entertainer, playing the flute, while a karako appears right beside him while performing an acrobatic act. Signed Tomochika.
Excellent details, form and expressions on this piece, with a wonderful patina.
Netsuke measures 0.98 inches (2.5cm) wide, 0.70 inches (1.8cm) deep, and 1.55 inches (3.9cm) tall. It is in excellent condition, as shown in the posted photos.
Antique Japanese unusual kiri wood (paulownia) tansu with original honey finish, two front doors with decorative iron hardware incised with heart designs. The interior houses ten drawers of varying size opened by hirute style handles complimenting the gorgeous natural woodgrain. Custom iron stand included. Meiji Period (1868 - 1912). Original finish and condition. Very useful storage.

The general consensus appears to be that the pillar figurines probably represent some form of "Mother Goddess" personifying fertility, possibly the goddess Astarte of the Canaanites, sidonians, and Philistines
