This lovely antique bell is a traditional Ghanta, which is a Tibetan Buddhist ritual bell, sometimes called Dril, bu,and/or singing bell. Just over 6 inches tall, this Ghana is paired with the Dorje at the top of the handle, and the surface is decorated with an abundance of Tibetan symbols. This bell has the original clapper, has a lovely tone and beautiful patina. Bell is 6.5 inches (16.5 CM) tall

A textile panel made of different dyed silk stripes, exquisitely embroidered with motifs from Zoroastrian myths such as fishes or botehs. The backing is a coarse blue dyed cotton, framed by a black ribbon. A pair of antique 19th-century Islamic Malaysian silver bowls, each of circular form, stands on three small semi-spherical feet. Around the body, twelve repoussé and hand-chiseled Persian-style medallions amidst trailing tendrils decorate the body; the bases are decorated with roundels containing a large sword kris and scabbard among foliage.

Fine early example of a Jomon Period Dogu Clay Figure, the earliest known Japanese
figures. The Dogu acted as effigies of people. They manifested some kind of
sympathetic magic. For example, it may have been believed that illnesses
could be transferred into the Dogu, and then destroyed, clearing the
illness, or any other misfortune. Because of the ritual destruction of Dogu,
they are quite rare. This primitive abstract fertility figure has a
futuristic look...
Hinagata (sample book of hanten (short jacket) design which is wood-block print. Hinagata is a sample design book and it was for customers when they make orders. The designs are stencil-dyed in the back of hantens which were worn by workers such as shop clerks, fish market workers, firemen and so on. This book is a remake of the original book as the ground paper had many damages so that the original design hantens were cut out and pasted on Japanese paper and newly bound...
Five Delft polychrome wall plates in the Peacock pattern, a stylized mix of flowers and feathers very much “en vogue” in Delft of the 18th century. They all have a claw mark in under-glaze blue to the base, for De Klauw, the legendary Delft faience manufacture of the period. However, the Peacock pattern saw a renewed popularity around 1900 when these plates were probably made. Diameter "8/ 20 cm. Condition: fine.
Chinese export plate, decoration in Famille rose enamels of flowers and finger lemon. The well with an iron red border in European Rococo style and the background with greenish shade (more so than is seen on the photos). Diameter "9/ 23 cm. 19th century netsuke of a puppy wearing a collar with bell, and playing with a bamboo twig with leaves. Superb carving to the last detail - see its double inlaid eyes and raised whiskers. Fantastic sense of its chubby body, clever use of a lighter colored ivory layer as a spot on the puppy’s coat, beautiful patina on excellent quality material...

Late Momoyama period cylinder shaped (Hantsutsu - slightly destorted but not a Kutsugata yet) tea bowl made of light, rough Mino clay. The fastly but expertly thrown body in the style of a Narumi-oribe bowl, which is a variation of green Oribe style.
