A 17th/18th Century jar (without cover) painted in under glaze blue with two Qilin (each standing amongst cloud scrolls and flames) reserved against a prunus blossom / "cracked ice" ground. This item was made in China during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 12.7cm (5 inches) high.

The generous bell bowl has a highly uncommon folded rim, and a solid base with enclosed tear, beneath which is a ball knop with multiple tears. Beneath this an inverted baluster knop surmounts the stem, all with the multiple spiral air twist...
An attractive Arita dish made for export to Europe decorated with conventionalised panels of Hoo birds and Paulonia flowers and stylised Peony flowers inset within an underglaze blue brocade ground to the cavetto, and a central motif of Chrysanthemum. The presence of gilt outlined enamels and colloidal pink in the palette indicate that the plate is from the Kyoho period or slightly later.

The vase consists of two identical small juglets (bilbils) joined together at body, excellent workmanship and decoration, dark gray metallic burnish, a fine creation of the master potter in a period when pottery making reached a peak of achievement.

A Song Qingbai Ewer. Height approximately 11.6 cm and length approximately 16.2 cm (the tipspout to the handle). The ewer has a 6 cm hairline to the base and a hairline across the half of connection (not appeared from inside). Good condition.
At 65 inches, this is an Niello chain with alternating gold and silver loops in its original length and is a classic loop-in-loop design dating from ancient times, in which the individual loops are soldered before assembly...
1900's Chinese Rock Crystal Carved Cowboy Ride Water Buffalo on Wood Stand
It is 6.3 inches (16 cm) tall measured with stand and 5.2 inches (13.2 cm) tall measured without stand by 7 inches (18 cm) wide. The crystal weighs by itself is 1860 grams. Total weight including the stand is 4.5 lb.
The rock crystal has small and flea bite chips, inclusions, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Distressed Japanese Iki mask with crystal eyes. Gofun finish over dry lacquer composition. Details including veins, wrinkles and furrows. The surface is in a distressed state with significant losses and some 'alligatored' texture possibly from exposure to elements. Would make a worthy conservation project for someone with the patience to recoat and touch up losses (the missing left ear being most challenging.) Length, about 9 1/4 inches (23.49 cm)
