Japanese Kutani Porcelain Sake Cup Washer with Cover, Ca. 1910, late Meiji period, 5 1/4" high with cover on, 6 1/4" diameter-top rim, overglaze scenery of bridge over the river, and country houses and Pink Cherry Blossom trees decorated and highlighted with brilliant raised gold decoration. It looks like the pig walking on the bridge with flag? The Bowl is resting above the attached three(3) wide legs, all in one(1) piece. Signed in red "Kutani" on the bottom. The condition is good.

This shallow dish is well-carved translucent green jade with bands of blackish coloring with speckles of gray and white. Two handles carved as butterflies extend from the rim. It is evenly carved inside and out with the base raised on a low footring, also very well-carved. The overall pattern in the jade suggests a landscape or cloud effect. Antique Chinese bitong (brush pot) carved of huanghuali wood with mythical chilong creatures. Undulating edges around the rim seem to unfurl. The lower portion is carved with a cusped edge and three low feet. Beautiful grain.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by the Royal Cauldon Porcelain manufacturer around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ¾ inches and the cup is 1 ¾ inches high. The interior of the cup and surface of the saucer are hand painted with elaborate raised gilding and tiny roses. There are gilded accents, and gold trim on the handle and rims. Condition: Excellent

Sterling silver cream or sauce ladle in the elegant 1910 "Newport Shell" (aka "Puritan") pattern by the Frank Smith Silver Co. The pattern relies on a beautifully executed shell and beading for its design impact. The reverse is marked with Smith's older hallmark and the retailer's name "D. Low & Co." (Salem, MA). The Frank Smith Silver Co. was chosen by the State Department to provide sterling silver flatware for every U.S. Embassy.

Early 19th C. Japanese Iwami School Netsuke: Sennin This is a finely hand-carved netsuke in Ebony wood of a standing Sennin striking his beard with his right hand. Netsuke was carved by an unknown artist from the Iwami Province sometime during the Early 19th century. The bowl is a so called Madara Karatsu tea bowl (provenance is the legendary Hobashira-kiln) due to its typical cookie-like sandy clay and wonderful blue-purplish flecks.

But its true highlight is the perfect traditional yobitsugi restoration with a pure silver gintsugi (kintsugi)...

Originally only worn by royalty and women of the royal court, commoners were granted permission to wear wonsam in the late 19th-early 20th century and then only for weddings and performances. Pair of rare hanging apsaras, also known in Japanese as Kuyo Bosatsu or Hiten. The style of the face, the soft appearance of the hands, and the flowing robes are fine examples of the highest quality in Edo Period Buddhist sculpture. One apsara may have been holding an object to offer the Buddhas, while the other is carrying drumsticks and appears to be hitting the drum the apsara is carrying. This is Ming dynasty, Wanli period deep polychrome large swatow bowl. It stands on a short foot rim with a recess base with a double red circle in the centre. From the foot rim, it everted slightly and upwards, and then towards a mildly everted mouth rim.
