A fine leaded glass water goblet with wheel cut swag and leaf motifs around the top of the bowl. The round foot is cut with a Star of David which rises with highly facet stem blocks upon which rests bowl with graduated terraces before gushing with flaring walls. The glass is most elegant with its watery translucence. Condition is excellent.

A very rare cast iron fireplace tool set with caddy includes tongs, poker, and shovel. The caddy in enameled in black over a white primer, a clue to help dating of the set. The caddy is formed of rectilinear lines with a bird with large plumes in the center. Each of the tools has a ring for either grabbing or hanging. A Chinese mutton fat nephrite jade pendant or toggle of Budai measuring about 2 1/2" long and weighing 86g. While primarily white in color, the jade has a few random russet sections on the side and rear, and evinces under strong light a faint subtle green tint. Chinese antique wool Pau Tau rug with woven together in a whimsical pictorial composition of a flying crane, deer, and an exaggerated large peony.
The Peony is shy and is hiding amongst the craggily rock formation, reminiscent of a Taihu stone. Admits the red sun and swirling clouds, the pine tree stands along, swaying towards the flying crane which is about to land as the prancing deer is on a field of flowers.
The overall ground field is blue which graduates from pale blue to indigo.
